Chapter 32

Chandler's POV

"Wow, I don't even know what to say."

"I know it's a lot to take in, would you like a moment?" Dr. Carter says about to stand up.

"No, no, I'm fine. So she's gonna be alright? What about Jenny?" I look up to him with concern lasing my face.

"Yes, Mary is completely fine, mostly just scrapes and bruises." He looks down.

"And Jenny?"

"Well, Jenny will be mostly fine."

"Mostly? Whats that mean?"

"Well Jenny has major brain damage, it is fixable, but...."

"But what?"

"She will have epileptic seizures from time to time. This means she can have the choice to have a service dog to detect when she will have one. This is not necessary but is recommended."

(Anybody recognise that reference? *whispers* Jena?)

"Wow...I don't even know what to say."

"You don't have to say anything. Would you like to go in and see them? Mary should be waking up shortly."

"Yeah, I'm gonna go fill James in on the whole situation. He doesn't even know they're here."

"Ok, just make sure he stays calm, if he wants to come in and see them get a nurse to help with the cords and such. Good luck, I wish you the best."

"Thanks doc." I stand up and shake his hand turning around to head to James' room.

"I hope he doesn't freak out" I think to myself.

I walk into his room, everyone else was in there.

"Hey, um, can I talk to James alone?"

Everyone knew why.

"We'll see you later James, we have to go. Our parents are probably freaking out." Sam tells James.

"Yeah, we haven't been home all but one time and that was when we first moved here." Sophia says with a smile.

"You guys didn't have to do that." James says, not liking all of the attention he's been getting the past few days.

"Yes we did." Nuno says before they walk out not listening to another word James said.

James' POV

"Assholes" I say jokingly.

I look over and see Chandler standing in the doorway, he didn't look happy. Almost like he's sorry for me.

"Hey babe, what do you need to tell me?" I ask with a smile on my face. That smile faded quickly when I saw his frown wasn't turning into a smile. "Hey, what's wrong?" I sit up a bit more than I was.

"Um, it's about Mary and Jenny...." He trails off.

"What about them!?"

"They were in a car accident."

I stop and stare at the wall. My heart started getting faster and faster, all of a sudden I hear yelling and everything started going blurry.

And then everything went black....
