Yesterday, I was so pre-occupied with my thoughts of having Jake in our class. Not to mention that he was also in the same group as I was. We're all here in Maxene's place right now, dicussing about our report.

"So... let's divide our work! I'll do the main content, Jared will do the introduction while both of you will do the facts and examples." Jake said.

He was our leader. He is a very smart person, a gentleman and not to mention, near perfection.

I nodded in agreement and went to Maxene's laptop to start my research. Just as we were getting things done, Jared darted towards his bag.

"Uhh... I'm sorry! I can't do the report with you guys..."  Jared said as he grabbed his things.

"And why so?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow and stared at him.

"is it really important? We have to pass this tomorrow!" Maxene exclaimed.

"But I-Uhh, I have to meet someone today. It's urgent!" He replied and smiled playfully.

Tsk! Urgent? If I may know he's just going to see a bunch of girls or something like that and flirt with them. I always see him around girls recently...

"Whatever." I said and continued my work.

"So... who is it dude?" Jake stood up and placed his arm right around Jared's neck.

"It's none of your business, Pal!" And he smiled at Jake.

I can see right through their drama for it was visibly in front of me.

"O C'mon! Aren’t I your bestfriend?" And he punched Jared lightly on the arm.

Wait! Bestfriends? Jared and Jake? Is that even possible? They’re like the total opposite of each other. Jake’s the good boy-next-door while Jared’s the bad boy from the outside. Well, I guess this is where miracles take place.

 "What? You two are bestfriends? Woah! Seriously?” Maxene said childishly.

 "Hey! Don't be mean!" Jake squeeled---which I found really cute.

“Yep. For six years already!” Jared proudly replied.

“Well take a look at that! A hyena and a lion, bestfriends.” Maxene said as she went to her kitchen.

“Ahahahah!” And both of them laughed.

I looked at them. Jake was... well, more like an angel to me when he laughs.

“So you’re secretly staring at me when it’s perfectly obvious?” Jared chirped. Well of course ye- wait! NO!

“Pardon?” I asked in disbelief. Talk about thickness?

“Ahahah! You don’t need to hide it sweetie. If you want, I’ll let you stare at me all day long!” Jared offered.

But I was staring at Jake, not you! I frowned in my mind.

“No thanks. Besides, I was only deeply thinking about this research and it just happened to be that you’re right in front of me..”

“Hahah! Oh really? Okay then. I better leave now, bye!” Then he kissed me on my cheek and left.
