Chapter Eleven

Lea.

Things have been going exactly planned and how I wanted it to be. me and Quincy still haven't made everything official yet but we are working on it.

I think we have became closer than ever now that I have met his family and got to see behind the scenes of his past life.

Me thinking that Quincy was all about this bad boy turned out to be wrong. Although actions speak louder than words.

Hey quinc ? You home?" I yelled coming through his door since it's always unlocked.

"Yeah. Living room"

As I walked to the living room I heard a female voice definitely not quincy's mom I know that for sure.

"Hey..... who is this ?" I stepped into the room to see a female definitely not his mom but looked younger, jet black hair, chocolate eyes, and skin color made out to be carmel.

"This is my new assistant Karen" he looked at me then back to her.

"Um. Hi I'm lea" I greeted her with a handshake.

"Nice to finally meet you. Quincy has told me a lot about you"

I chuckled "hope they were nice things he said".

"Of course I would, why wouldn't I" Quincy looked at me.

I just looked at him and turned back to this Karen girl, I don't think I'm gonna be to confine with her around Quincy especially if we're working on us.

Can't trust any girls as assistants, they might be just as crazy as I am.

"She's going to be my assistant for a couple of months because Im gonna have so much going I should have someone else work on other things for me. Right Karen?" He looked her way.

"Of course. Anything." She gave him a mischievous smirk.

I looked at Quincy and he was already staring at me, I stared back at him and he looked to be really happy.

I guess we will see how this turns out.

"Okay Karen. I'll tell you when I need you available but until then you can chill and do whatever" Quincy said.

"Okay bye lea, and thank you so much" she gave him a unexpected hug.

I stared at her like gawk while she hugged him.

How could she just hug someone like that?

Who does she think she is?

Stop thinking negative lea. stay positive everything's okay.

he just stood and stepped back.

Finally.

"I'm sorry.......um I'll talk to you later.....bye" she hurriedly ran out the he door to her car.

Quincy closed the door. "well that was awkward" he slightly laughed.

"Yeah. I saw" I giggled.

"She's nice isn't she. I hope your okay with this, I don't want you to feel uncomfortable" he walked up to me and grabbed my hand.

"It doesn't I know it's just business you have to take care of" I said softly.

"Thank you for patient with me" he kissed my cheek.

"Not a problem for you" I smiled.

Even though it's business, got to keep an eye on her.

"Babe is Angela down stairs" I yelled from the shower.

"Yeah. She waiting hurry up" he yelled back.

I didn't respond because I finally was done with a nice hot shower.

After days still thinking about what happened with his new "assistant" I thought of the things she did when she was here.

The smirking, hugging, staring hard at him like a piece of meat.

If anything I thought she might be stalking, obsessed, or worse a serial killer.

How could I be so crazy to think that? She seemed so nice .... until what she did that day.

All my thoughts were erased when Quincy came barging in the room.

"Hey, She downstairs waiting. I have to go do this photoshoot with galore"

"I know I'm ready, and okay I'll see you later" kissing his cheek.

"Alright" he kissed my lips.

"What was that for?"

"For being you, and don't be scared to kiss me" he winked and walked out.

Such a flirt.

I grinned and left the room.

I had work to do this semester. Which is very hard I will say.

But I'll try my hardest to update casually for you guys because I've been seeing y'all put MY story in your reading list.
