"BANG!" An echo even I, laying there dying, can hear bounce around the house. I shot myself just in the area where I can suffer a few more seconds, maybe minutes, than most.
It was beautiful. The red pool around me slowly grew further and further away, it was almost as if it was hugging me. Giving me the reassurance that maybe, just maybe, everything will be ok.
As if God was trying to rub death in my face, in walked Little Lisa. Her facial expression changed from a wide smile, the one usually plastered to her face, to her jaw dropping further than a cartoon's jaw would have.
She yelled: "MOMMYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!"
I was heartbroken. The memory of me having to lay there...just to watch her cry...it reminded me of myself. When I was sobbing prior to the incident... She reminds me of myself in a lot of ways... I feel pity for her in that subject...
Anyways! Out came my mother from the bathroom, she was rushing towards my sister. I could see the interaction in the crack of my door.
"What's wrong, Pumpkin?" My mom asked in a caring expression. "MOMMY. IT'S....-" She was yelling, frantically. "SHUT THE FUCK UP, LISA!" Came a shout from downstairs. My rationale at the time was an intruder, or my father. Looking back, it was the latter.
"Go on honey...what's wrong...?" My mother said peering around. That's when it happened.
My mom locked eyes with me. We just stared. She was frozen in fear.... Or maybe it had been sorrow... I looked at her with teary eyes..
She ran over, opening the door with a loud push. She then, started yelling: "ROB! ROB! CALL AN AMBULANCE!" You could hear dad stomping up the stairs. He sounded pissed. That is...until the lug got to the top of the stairs. Then he stormed over, staring. Mom was yelling about ambulances.
Then... I heard my dad cry... For the first time ever... That man balled like everyone else was. I was finally at peace. People actually cared for my death. I was complete. I closed my eyes, readying myself. Then I fluttered them on accident, only to see my sister staring at me. She was smiling... Yes.... Smiling just as widely as before... Then I passed out.
I awoke, sweating intently, staring at a large mass of people all screaming and interlocking their arms. It was quite symbolic, yanno? Just, after, you uh.... Get past the horror...
I tried closing my eyes, then realized I couldn't. I touched my face to feel blood gushing out, and instantly winced when I touched anywhere near my face. I attempted to barely poke it, but then realized all the skin was missing. I don't know about you guys, but before now, I was horrified of gore. This doesn't include general anatomy. It looked disgusting. I used to puke during my class when we had to see pictures.
That's when I seen a...monster.... It was looking down at me, nearly 9 feet tall. It licked its lips, first the top, then the bottom. It had horrible red eyes. This...thing... Was looking down at me so viciously. It was more of a shadow than anything. Let alone the fact that it had hands the size of my entire body. In retrospect, I was terrified.
