Draco sat down beside (Y/N). They didn't speak a few minutes. She was to afraid to make the first move, too afraid to say anything. So they sat. The two teens were perched on a large boulder that sat near the small lake. (Y/N) gently leaned forward and picked a small daisy and gave it to Draco. He took it with a small smile and set it on his knee. "Why haven't you spoken to me?" Malfoy asked. "I've been busy with school, sorry." she replied. The students sat there for a few more moments. " You worried me, you know. I thought I had done something wrong." " You have done nothing wrong, like I said, busy." (Y/N) replied a bit harshly. She didn't mean for it to sound so rude to Draco, (Y/N) was just under so much stress with the end of terms and summer coming around the corner, and she didn't want to return home the what she would call " family". They weren't the nicest people but they did feed you and give you a home. But the downside was that they would ignore you and make fun of you for being a witch. (Y/N) hadn't told Malfoy because she didn't want him to feel pity for her. He already knew that (Y/N) was picked on.
"Let's explore the rest of the grounds, eh? Sounds like fun no? I mean we are always meeting here, let's make a change for once." (Y/N) said. "Yeah, that's sounds like fun." Replied Draco. When both of them started to stand, a gust of wind passed through them, causing a few of the flowers nearby to lose some of their petals. This cause some of them to fly into Draco's hair. The sight made (Y/N) to giggle a little reaching up to pick the silky leaves out of his hair. He gave her the most adoring look she had ever received in her life. For once the gryffindor felt wanted and need and better yet, happy with everything. As she pulled her hand away, Malfoy took her hand and lead them both out of the secret area. As they entered the hallway, Professor Snape gave them both a strange look then whisked away around the corner, robes flowing behind him. The students headed down to the edge of the Forbidden Forest. When they arrived, (Y/N) squeezed Draco's hand. " Don't worry, I'm right here." he said, with a small smirk on his face.
As the two walked down the path, (Y/N) took in the eerie scenery that seemed to hold such a calmness that she would remember forever. She loved spending time with Draco. Though she would never admit it to him she did truly adore him. (Y/N) had gotten so comfortable with being around him and getting to know him, she felt he was her way out of the darkest parts of her life. With her eye plagued with the look of curiosity,Malfoy couldn't help but stare. He was so taken with her flawlessness. It was as if she didn't realize what he did to him. Drace had heard many things said by the other boys in their year about (Y/N). He often grew jealous of the remarks made and disgusted by others. He wanted to make (Y/N) his. This was his plan: When they arrived at the small clearing, Draco would admit his feelings the other. He wasn't afraid to of being rejected. He knew that (Y/N) liked him. Draco had seen the way he had looked at him and how she would blush when he complimented her and so on. When the clearing was in view,he racked his brain as to what to say. This will be interesting he thought to himself. As the came to a stop in the center, (Y/N) spun slowly around on her heels. the space around them was amazing. Rays of sun shown through the dying branches and leaves of the towering grey trees. The air seemed to have little flecks of gold. It was an amazing sight to see. " Eh,(Y/N), there is something I need to tell you...." Draco said as her eyes soon met his.
