~ DANIELLE'S POV ~
I decided to do some research on the chemicals that were on my arm, and the side effects. But it was just a dead end.
'Do I tell someone?' I think to myself. 'Should I tell my mom, or my aunt? I mean, the chemicals were in her backyard. Maybe she knows something about them.
I just decided to keep quiet about everything that happened. I pick up my phone and see a message from Tyler.
Tyler; "Hey, I'm watching my niece, and we were going to go see a movie. I was thinking maybe u would want to come along?"
Me; "yeah, sure, that sounds like fun. :)"
So, I grabbed my high tops and my beanie, and went out into the kitchen where my mom stopped me.
"Where are you going?" my mom says, while making coffee.
"Tyler invited me to go see a movie with him and his niece, is it ok if I go?" I ask.
"Huh.. Yeah, it's fine, but be back in time for dinner. Tim is coming over."
"Oh, uhh, ok." I say, thinking about what she said. "I'll try and be back in time."
I turn around and walk out the door, but I stop, and turn back at my mom.
"Um, what was that little, 'huh' when I brought up going with Tyler to the movies."
"Oh, it was nothing. Just, interesting."
"What's so 'interesting' about it?"
"Nothing, you just seem to be hanging out with Tyler a lot recently."
"You aren't seriously thinking that me and Tyler ar-"
"No, no." My mom says, cutting me off. "I just find it interesting."
"Goodbye, mom." I say, walking out the door.I got in my car, and started the engine. I turned on the radio, and started listening to music.
I pulled up to Tyler's house, and I saw Amy, Tyler's niece, riding her bike, and Tyler was sitting on the porch watching her.
I walk up to Tyler's porch, and sit next to him."She's getting better at riding that bike." I say, as I put my keys in my pocket.
"Yeah, she is. She might even be ready to take those training wheels off."
"Exciting."
"Very."
There was some awkward silence, and all I could think about was what my mom said."Hey Danny!" Amy says, coming up to me and giving me a hug.
"Hey Amy! You're getting really good at riding your bike."
"Yeah, I know." she says, giving me a little smile.
"Amy." Tyler says, kind of serious.
"Sorry, I mean thanks."
She has always been I little sassy, she gets from her mom."Ok, who's ready to go see a movie?!" I say, standing up and grabbing my keys.
"Me!" Amy says, taking off her helmet and putting her bike in the garage.
"Well then let's go!"We all decided to get into my car, since Tyler was too lazy to drive.
We got to the movie theatre, Tyler and Amy went to get popcorn and candy. I went to go get the tickets. The tickets came out of the machine, and fell out and started flying away.
"Dang it!" I say, staring and the tickets fly away.
I reached out to try and grab them, and they froze in mid air. There was purple mist around them, holding them in air. I looked at my hand, and the purple mist was surrounding it too.
I try and focus, and I pulled the tickets closer and closer, until they were finally in my hand.'What-what did I just do!?' I think to myself.
"Hey Danny! What's with all the hold up?" Amy says, shouting from inside the theatre.
"I'm coming!" I shout back. The entire movie, all I could think about was what happened. After the movie, I dropped Tyler and Amy back off at Tyler's house.
"Come on Danny, come have dinner with us!" Amy says, trying to persuade me.
"I would, but I have to get back to my house for dinner. My mom is having a, uh, guest, over."
"Ah darn. Maybe next time."
"Come on Amy," Tyler says, pulling her from my car, "You'll see her later."
"Bye Amy."
"Bye Danny!" she says, running inside.
"Let me guess, Tim is coming over, huh?" Tyler asks.
"Yeah, it will be some dinner."
"Well, have fun."
"I'll try."I pull away from their house, and start driving. I couldn't stop thinking about what I did with those tickets.
'What was that!? How did I do that?! Why?!'I couldn't stop thinking, when all of the sudden, a bright light came shinning towards me, and this car came straight for me. I panicked. I heard a loud horn, I swerved off the lane, and lost control of the wheel.
