[edited]"We'll make it through this momma." I reassure her while we sit in our seats on the plane. The ride is a few more hours and it will be a torturous few hours. My father leaving is just as bad as him dying, you can't help it either way.
The only difference is that he had a choice, and he decided to leave us.
"I'm sorry sweets, I'm supposed to be the mother here yet you're the one helping me through this. It's unfair and I'm so sorry." My mom apologizes for the hundredth time already.
"It's not your fault momma, it's okay. He was your husband for more years than I even knew him. You loved him and it's okay to be heartbroken." I explain, she sniffles.
"Thank you sweets but he was your father, you have known him your whole life and now he's just.. Gone. We didn't even see it coming." She lets more tears fall.
She lays her head on my shoulder so I lay my head on hers. This will be a long ride.

"After we check into the hotel you can get a shower and tomorrow a friend of mine will be taking me and you on a tour of the city. She invited us for dinner too and her daughter will be there too. I met her online, her name is Sabrina and she's nice." She tells me, I nod.
We enter the hotel lobby and walk to the front front desk since nobody else is waiting in line.
"Hello, what can I do for you today?" The lady asks nicely, my mom smiles back.
"Can we just have one room with two beds please? One of the ones with the kitchen like, on one of the the top floors." My mom asks, the lady keeps the smile on her face as she types on her computer.
"Name?"
"Belle Rowan."
"That'll be seventy dollars and seventy six cents please."
"Thank you very much."
"Have a nice night!"

"Get up sweets! We have to get going for our tour soon. C'mon." My mom wakes me for the fifth time in the past half an hour. I finally listen.
"I'm up." I say as I stand up from the comfy hotel bed. I instantly want to curl back up under the covers but I keep myself together long enough to lock myself in the bathroom.
I do everything I need to in the bathroom including makeup and hair before I exit and get myself dressed in a white cropped top with some light jean shorts and a white and maroon plaid shirt hanging loosely on top of the shirt.
I throw on some white vans (ik the comments are coming) to go with it and style my hair in a cute messy bun even though it'll probably fall out (boy) during the day.
I have on my usual makeup which is a little bit of eyeshadow, a little bit of eyeliner with no wing and mascara. I filled in my eyebrows a little bit too. I never wear much makeup but I love lipstick so I put on a nude colour for today.
I go to the small kitchen where there is no stove or oven. My mom has pancakes set down on the table already and is sitting in front of a plate, I sit down beside her.
"Good morning sweets, you look beautiful." She smiles at me, I smile back.
"You do too momma." I say honestly. We both start eating our pancakes that mom must have gotten downstairs, the hotel serves breakfast.

"That's the last place!" Sabrina says excitedly. She's very nice, she has been showing us around all day and she can't wait for me to meet her daughter. Sabrina talked about how pretty her blue eyes are and more but that was the only part I payed any attention to.
Maybe her daughter could be my soulmate? I never know but I can't wait to meet her just in case. Sabrina doesn't know that I'm partially blind or anything about my 'disability'. I don't like calling it a disability.
"Let's go home now." She says as we all hop back into her light blue car [momma told me what colour it is] We drove around the city, it's beautiful here, and very warm.
"I'm going to make dinner, anyone want to join me?" My mom raises her hand and they both laugh.
"You can watch some tv or something darling. Casey should be home soon." Sabrina says to me, I nod and they go to the kitchen. I plop myself down on the couch and grab the tv remote. This will be a long evening of grown up gossip.
----------
We've already ate dinner and Casey still isn't home yet, I'm sitting on the couch again, watching tv while the two moms sit in the kitchen and chat. I'm getting very tired, probably because I'm bored.
I lay down and spread my legs down the couch. I watch the tv until I slowly fall asleep..

Sorry I didn't write the tour, I don't live in or near la and I didn't want to look it up bc that's hard and I could get false info from the Internet so this is what you get.
Do you think Sabrina's daughter is Laura's soulmate? ;)
I'm thinking of writing a boyxgirl story even though I despise them. I'm thinking I could make the boy more feminine and adorable, I don't want to make it fanfiction though.
I'm going to finish this story before I start a straight story though, and I may not even write one. I might write it as a short story in a notebook at camp.
