Chapter 46

Zoe's P.O.V:

"S-So I'm going to meet Luke?!" I stammered and tried to not scream too much.

"I don't know if he's at home, isn't he in a boy band traveling around the world?"

"True b-but I'm going to walk into his house.. THIS IS SO COOL" I shouted and Niall laughed at me.

"Try to not get too excited" he laughed and opened the door.

"Okay!" I took a deep breathe. "Let's go!" I brushed my jacket with my hands before walking outside.

"This is going to be so cool" Niall said and waited for me to lock the door.

"I knew you liked them too!" I exclaimed and hit him on the arm.

"What? No" he lied.

"I can tell that you're lying, ha" I laughed and got in the car.

"I don't like them" he said and looked around him. "Okay, a tiny bit maybe" he shrugged and bit his lip.

"Just get in" I laughed ironically and fastened my seatbelt.

We sat there quietly for a few minutes but Niall broke the silence.

"You know, I'm not gay" he said and I just couldn't hold my laugh inside. I laughed for seemed like forever.

"Are you serious?" I breathed trying to speak clearly.

"I-I don't know what you were thinking" he shrugged and squeezed his eyes.

"I mean, we're literally dating but I don't know about you" I laughed hysterically loud.

"I'm sorry okay" he blushed and looked back to the road.

"You're so cute" I smiled at him. "You know, being a fan of 5sos is a plus for me"

"Alright can we skip the subject?" He licked his lower lip and kept the focus on the road.

"Whatever you say big guy" I joked and he chuckled a little.

We were quiet for a little while and I sat there looking out through the window. It was raining outside, like always. You could tell the winter was on its way because of the bad weather and cold mornings.

"Niall" I said and he hummed a 'yeah'

"I have been thinking, and I want to know what you are" I swallowed nervously.

"Can we take it later? You'll probably need space when I'm telling you" he said calmly.

"Okay" I nodded and looked out again.

A few minutes later we had parked at the side of the street in the middle of nowhere. I spotted a few houses and a lot of trees and bushes.

I looked around me and waited for Niall to come to my side of the car before I started walking beside him.

"Which house is it?" I asked.

"That one, I think" he said and pointed at the closest house. It was red.

"Shall we go?" I smiled and remembered Luke. Freaking. Hemmings.

"Yeah" Niall took my hand and lead me to the house.

"How do I look?" I stopped him from ringing at the bell.

"Wet but really cute" Niall smiled.

"No but really?" I grabbed his arm.

"Does it really matter? You don't have to look good in front of Luke because he's kind of you brother" he laughed.

"Okay then" I rolled my eyes and rang at the doorbell.

When nobody came to open I started knocking at the door but I got no response. I sighed and turned to Niall.

"There's nobody home" I bit my lip sadly.

"Come on, were not giving up because of that?" Niall winked and held his arm around my neck. "We'll go back another day"

"Would you really drive this long another time?" I looked him straightly in the eyes and raised my eyebrows.

"For you, yes" he nodded and we got back to the car.

"You're the best, you know that right?" I hugged him when we stood by the car.

"Impossible" he whispered. "Because you are"

I hugged him tighter. I felt the water dripping all over my body. I was wet on every place and I couldn't find one place where it wasn't water. My hair was all messed up but Niall still told me I looked cute.

"We should get inside the car" Niall said and pushed away.

"Yeah but I just need to do something first" I bit my lip and looked around us. The street was empty. The air was cold and I could feel how my face was all frozen.

"Okay, what?" He looked around us too.

I grabbed his head and turned it to me before kissing him passionately.

"What was that for?" He smirked.

"For being the best boyfriend ever"
