I ran downstairs to find Lucy sitting at a table with her head down and her hair covering her face. I walked over to the table and sat down at the seat next to her. She sat up and looked at me for a second before breaking out into tears.
I pushed her hair behind her ear and held the side of her face and looked at her. She's so damn beautiful. How the hell did I let that happen last night.
What kind of school is this anyway? This poor girl is shaking and in tears because of a sick assignment. I asked her if she would be okay if I left for a minute and she nodded her head and gave a little grin. I kissed her forehead before leaving the commons.
