(A/N: Hey guys! It's J here, and this is my new update. I hope you enjoy and make sure to vote it if you want the next chapter. Also, don't worry, Septiplier will appear vv soon :P)

I awoke to the sound of the curtain fling up past my bedroom window as my mother flustered around my bed, screaming my name with a hoarse voice. I lifted both of my delicate hands and placed them on my eyes, rubbing them to see clearly. Scanning my entire room, I looked to see if there was a reason to why my mother was acting like a mad woman, but then I took a glance at my alarm clock, and noticed that it was 7:50am.

I woke up late on my first day.

"If you don't get out of that bed and run straight into that bathroom to freshen up in the next five seconds, I'm gonna pu-," my mother screamed, hurting her partially damaged throat before I interrupted.

"I'm awake! I'll get in the bathroom in a minute. Calm down already!" I exclaimed, cuddling up in my blanket.

Noticing that action, my mother decided to pull off the bed sheets from my bed and grasp them into her arms as she ran from my room, hoping it would make me somehow rise from my bed. Making a moan of irritation, I reach over to my night stand and fumble my hand over the surface to find my phone, but then remember that it found a new home in the trash can last night. Getting extremely agitated with myself and my surroundings, I slowly creep up from my position in bed and rub my neck, untensing a nerve that was previously pulled in my slumber last night. I move onto my feet and walk like a sloth to my bathroom across the hallway of my one story home, rubbing my eyes a second time.

Locking the door tight, I fumble with the water controls on the sink carved into the counter until it hits the right temperature to help me wake myself up completely.

"Ice Cold".

I cup my hands under the fosset as the cold water filled up to the pinky. Then, without hesitation, I duck my head in closer to the sink and flush my face with it, causing my to slightly panic and shiver. Picking my head back up, I firmly hit the fosset with my nose, causing it some pain. Running across the bathroom, I frantically look for a piece of cloth to wipe all of the water off my face. Doing so, I was able to see, and when I looked down onto the towel, I saw red speckles of blood rubbed into one area near the top left corner of the item. Looking up into the mirror placed above the stack of towels, I noticed that my nose was bleeding, and know that it came from the interaction of my nose and the fosset.

Cleaning my red nose off, I saw how the skin near the small scab made the pain worsen, and that I'd need to place a band-aid over it to recover faster. As I was searching through the medicine cabinet to find one, my mother found a way to pick the door lock with her bobby pin and gain entry way into the bathroom. Knowing that I didn't clean off the small amount of blood left on the fosset, I threw a freshly cleaned towel over it, covering any remark of it.

"Sean. It's 7:59. Your shift starts in 1 minute and you're not even ready!" my mother yelped as a cough followed behind it.

With no answer, I stand still and face the opposite direction of my mother, peering into the cabinet in a desperate search for an elastic strip of pad that could cover up my scab.

"Sean. I want you to look at me in the eyes and tell me that you will be in the car by 8:05, in your uniform, alright?" my mother calmly explained, not willing to hurt her throat even more.

With no answer once again, my mother pulled my arm and turned my body to face her directly in the eyes. In the amount of seconds, she saw the scab on my nose and almost fainted. Shaking her head in confusion and disappointment, she reached over into the medicine cabinet and quickly found the band-aid that I have been scavenger hunting for for what seemed like forever, and placed it neatly over my nose. With nothing other than a pat on my shoulder, my mother walked out of the bathroom and sighed, grabbing her car keys and walking out of the house.

Strapping on my Kohl's uniform and juggling an apple, I make my way to the front door and slip my gray converse shoes on, making me remember an item that I almost forgot to bring. My diary.

Sprinting back to my room, I quickly grip my spiral journal and look at the clock, noticing that it was currently 8:04. Running back to the front door, I look at the full body mirror next to the shoe rack and fix my bowtie, hoping that the bright green color would distract from the gigantic noticeable band-aid that covered my nose. Soon enough, I make it into the passenger seat of my mother's car and buckle up quick enough for the gas peddle to be pressed a little after.

The adventure of being with my mother while going to work will be crazy, and all I know is that whatever happens, happens.
