I sat in Kay's bed as I tried to understand whatever was happening. this can't be true. It doesn't add up for god sake. Kay sat next to me as she was trying to find the right words to say.
"this can't be..."
"did you and... Vernon? I mean of course you did."
"we did..."
"then? why you act so surprised? It's normal you'd ended up pregnant."
"Kay, Vernon used a condom. We used protection."
"how are you sure that it didn't broke while..."
"It is one chance in a million for that to happen."
"well I guess you are that one chance, you dork. does Vernon know?"
"ha, even if he did, he wouldn't care. He was going to exchange me for his freedom to his dad. Kay, I'm alone now. I can't go with my family now that Vernon's dad is chasing them. Vernon, he left me all by myself, and a baby just complicates everything." I was so confused. I had the worse luck in the world.

Kay squeezed my hand as she smiled at me. I had a friend now, somehow it brings me comfort. then we heard someone throwing small rocks into Kay's window. have they found me already? But when Kay took a look to see who it was, a small smile appeared in my face to realized who that person was. Mingyu was there smiling at Kay, asking her if her parents weren't around. Mingyu climbed up to Kay's room. Wide eyes and mouth open, that's how he stood while looking at me.
"you are alive! I thought I had lost you!"
Mingyu then hug me tightly, I feel bad now cause he probably feels guilty about all of this.
"Mingyu, be careful! she can't be held too tightly!"
"why? are you alright? Did they hurt you bad?"

Kay looked at me, and I knew I needed to say it at least if I wanted Mingyu's help.
"I'm fine, Mingyu. It's that..." Biting my lip I was trying to say the words, the words not even I, was ready to say out loud.
"I'm pregnant?" Mingyu looked at me the same way as before. I mean, I wanted to be happy about this but right now I was too scared, too confused to even know what I was going to do with my baby yet. I wanted to have it but, keeping it with me would only bring it misery. Mingyu nodded while looking at me with a sympathetic smile.
"then we need to act quick. for now, I need to take you to where Seungcheol and the others are."
