Franky POV
It's been a few weeks of having sessions with Bridget, and honestly, I hate to admit that I actually trust her. Which scares me because everytime I trust someone, it goes to shit. I've had a wall that i've been building between me and other people since I was little. But somehow, she seems to break parts of it down everytime I see her. It helps that she's hot, eh? Those deep blue eyes, dark golden blonde hair, and a jawline that could cut glass. It's deeper than that, though. She's tough, but sincere. Persistent, but understanding. I'm really overwhelmed by how I feel when I see her. And I know that she feels it too. The way she smiles when I walk in the room, and I know that smile, and I know what it means.
"Doyle, Ms. Westfall will see you now." Mr. Jackson says rather hesitantly, he seems a bit off today.
"Sure thing, boss" I replied. On the way there all I can think about is how happy i'm going to feel when I see that smile, those eyes. No one's ever made me nervous before, but she's done the trick.
"G'day Franky" She said looking rather distant.
"You right, Gidge?" I said and got closer to her, on purpose of course.
"I'm fine, but it seems like because of the verbal abuse charge placed by Ms. Bennett against you, you can't apply for parole."
Fuck. I'm never getting out of this shithouse.
"Sweet, just fucking fantastic, eh? How the fuck am I gonna get out of here?"
"Just calm down, Franky. You'll be right." She says sweetly and rests her hand on my arm. I look at her hand and then into her eyes back and forth from her eyes to her lips.
She quickly pulls away and goes to her chair. I smile to the side and pace around the room by the window.
"What are we really here to talk about, Gidget?"
"Same thing we're meant to talk about every session, Franky, you."
I exhale loudly and chuckle. I walk over to her and get close.
"So we're not here to talk about you."
"That's right, we're not."
I smile and think up something smooth while looking into her eyes.
"Or about why you're wearing that new shade of lipstick today? Which suits you by the way." I wink and bite my lip. "How's it taste?" I mimic her shocked facial expression and giggle.
"Or about why you cross your legs when I come closer?" She clenches the arms of the chair tight and looks up at me.
"Sit down, Franky." She says laughing.
I get it, gotta stay professional. But if she's gonna keep breaking my walls down one by one i'm gonna break hers down too.
"I think that's enough for today." She says looking everywhere except at me.
"You're kickin' me out, eh? Whatever, see you tomorrow Gidget."
I start to close the door as I hear, "Its Bridg-" faintly. I smile, proud that I've slowly been breaking through to her.Bridget POV
Fuck. This can't be happening. I keep slowly falling for her shit more and more, it's gotta stop. She's a prisoner, and a client, and hot, and sweet, and funny, and.. what was I saying? Oh yeah, I'll get fired, and she will never get parole if we ever did anything. I just can't help but want her. I think about it more and more everytime I see her. I think of what she would do to me if she could. What I'd do to her. Stop Bridget, stop. Snap out it.
My heart has never beaten harder than when she was standing over me provoking me. This can't be happening.
I have to get Ms. Bennett to drop the verbal abuse charge so Franky can get out of here. I leave my office after my next few scheduled sessions and find Vera.
"Ms. Bennett, can I have a word, please?" I run up to catch up to her.
"Very well"
"The verbal abuse charge on Franky Doyle, I was hoping you could reconsider."
"And why would I do that, Ms. Westfall?"
"I got asked to help these women, especially with their futures, now how am I suppose to help someone with their future if they aren't promised one to work for?"
"You know, many people have tried to help Doyle, they've all failed."
"I really think we've made progress, and all she wants is to get out of here and never come back." I pause and quickly interrupt her. "Franky is a smart woman, Ms. Bennett, she can have a bright future if the chance of it is offered."
"Leave it with me, I'll see that it's dropped."
Thank god, I can't wait to give Franky the good news.
