Addison jolted up from her bed, her sleepy eyes barely able to open before she was out of the bed. Addison sighed and looked at herself in the mirror, she was short, only about 5'1, she had clean green hair and a nice smile, and nice pretty eyes. Addison didn't really look like the fighting type. She sat up rubbing her eyes as she said to herself,

"another nightmare?"

Addison had been having similar night terrors for over 2 months now, almost every night. Almost every night, while she was deep in sleep, she would see people, men in all brown metal suits, capturing her, and throwing her into a cage for people to watch and consider buying, and it was all legal, she wasn't the only girl in there. The mayor of the city that she couldn't recognize had considered taking her as a slave. Addison hadn't gotten past the moment when the mayor was talking to her in her nightmare. Each night she seemed to get a bit farther into the story of her night terrors.

Addison shook her head and stood up, putting on her black hoodie with a white hood, her galaxy colored shoes, and her navy blue jean shorts. Addison walked over to her window, looking out of it, she had a view over the village, it was small, only about a population of 30, but it was peaceful. Addison didn't have family of her own, and because of that she stayed with her best friend Reese and her father. Reese and Addison had met when they where just young, they would go swimming or play pranks on the farmer. Reese's father Jamou was an enthusiast on the ones who came before, "The Originators" as they where commonly known.

Addison walked out of her room with a yawn, looking around, she didn't see anyone, which was strange as Reece's father would usually be there, but Addison thought nothing of it.

"Maybe he's out of the house." Addison said to herself.

But when Addison turned the corner, a few of Jamou's books where scattered around, which had Addison worried, Jamou never let the books even tilt to the slightest, he would never let them be scattered on the floor in the man our that they where.

Addison rushed outside to see if she could find anymore clues as to where Jamou had vanished to. Addison ran down the steps to the bridge that connected the island she lived on to the village, then ran to the village, going to the nearest house, Lianne's house, Crazy Lianne's house. Addison and Reece had named the old lady who lived there Crazy Lianne because the old woman was always going on about the bad men taking over, neither of them even knew who the bad men where.

Addison knocked on Crazy Lianne's door, and within seconds she was greeted by the crazy woman.

"Addison! What has you coming to my door? No, did the bad men come?" Lianne squawked.

"No," Addison responded "have you seen Jamou? He isn't at home."

"Oh yes! I saw him and a tall skinny man going to The Originators Lost Island not too long ago!" Lianne said in her usual annoying voice.

"What?" Addison worriedly said "I need to catch up to them!"

"Well, you should go talk to the fisherman down near the docks, you could ask to use his boat!" Yelled Lianne.

As Addison began her walk down the the dock, she began thinking, would the fisherman let her use his boat, is Crazy Lianne even telling the truth? She wasn't sure, but she had to take the risk.
