Addison woke up from a deep sleep, rolling to her side, it was still dark out. She rolled out of bed and changed back into her hoodie, and shorts, pulling the hood up, putting her backpack on, making sure the sword was still in there, and it was. She walked outside, looking over the village and whatever else was across the way, she stretched, she couldn't stay here and wait any longer. The zoomer and that strange skinny man had went this way, so she would to. She walked down the wooden steps, threw the quiet, dark village and to the forest, nobody ever dared venture into this place, but she would have to be first. She lit a lantern and began her walk.
The walk was quiet and peaceful for a while, there was no sign of any town or the village behind her, so she kept going. Eventually she came to a large river, impossible to jump across, and no bridge in sight. It didn't look like it was going to have an end anytime soon, and the current was ridiculously fast. She had to cross, and that's when she noticed a few big rocks in the water, just sticking up enough to be dry. She could jump across them, and it seemed to be her only choice.
Addison slid down the side of the river until she got close enough to jump to the first rock, she did it rather simply, and the rock had no wobble, she cleared the next one no problem, only 3 more to go. She took the jump but at that moment a wave rolled in and made her lose her footing, she slipped the water taking her aggressively down stream, taking breaths the few times she could. She was flying down stream, screaming, though her screams could not be heard from anyone. She was still conscious though, as she was taken by the current, she saw a large rock and a stick flying towards her at extreme speed, as she passed she grabbed on to the branch but only for it to snap, she stabbed it into the dirt, but that didn't work either, she ended up hitting her head on something behind her, which ended up in her becoming unconscious.
Addison opened her eyes, where was she, she didn't know, but it was some sort of cell, she stood and walked to the door, looking threw the small rectangular opening, only to see some sort of throne, it had to be 50 steps just to get to a seat, nobody was in it, the stairs where covered in a red carpet which led all the way to a humongous wooden door, she tried to open the door but no luck, there was no windows, and only a crappy bed with a thin blanket.
After a while of looking around the room, Addison sat down on the bed. About 10 minutes later, there was a loud bang at the door of her cell, she looked up, only to see those menacing, glowing red eyes.
"Finally awake are we?" Said the man in the brown armor, as he chuckled. "I told you I would take you for my own, now behave while I run downstairs to greet my visitors."
Addison sat back down, not answering the man, he walked away slowly, her vision started to go blurry, before she awoke, her clothes soaked, laying on an empty beach that she didn't recognize. She stood, a little wobbly but only a few cuts and bruises. She looked around, this beach was at the bottom of the hill, so she decided it was best to climb up the hill, once she reached the top she looked around, confused, another town, this one was all bridges, all houses on foundations, water under them, Sharks swam around in the water below. She walked down to the closest bridge, a sign read 'Welcome To: TukTol'.
TukTol, it didn't sound like anything she had heard of. She walked down the bridge, it was rickety, so she was careful, there where a few people walking around, so when she finally caught up to one she stopped him.
"Where am I?" She asked rather suddenly.
"Why, you're in TukTol, welcome! I'll assume you're another that fell into the river, yes?" Addison nodded as he said this. "We are a peaceful town, just don't go around starting trouble."
Addison, still lost and confused nodded, walking away, she saw a large building, 3 stories tall with a large sign that read 'newcomers' and she followed it. When she walked in, what she saw was a museum, of Originator artifacts, and a lot of what must have been random things the inhabitants of this place thought where interesting, one object caught her eye, it was almost as if she couldn't look away, a little metal head, tall ears and a carved face, she reached to it, and some sort of connection was made, and it floated to her, shaking slightly. As it floated to her, it stopped in the air, then fell into her hands, she didn't know what it was, but slipped it into her backpack. She walked out, then across a few bridges before reaching a small hut walking in, nobody was inside, until a man jumped from behind a wall.
"Addison!" He yelled out, his white hair sticking up, his clothes white but stained with multiple different things, his body size average. "I've been waiting for you!" Addison didn't recognize this man whatsoever.
"For, me?" She asked, clueless.
"That's your name isn't it?" He asked and threw a book back into the shelf, it landed perfectly "look I've got no time to explain, but we have to get moving, oh good, already got your sword." He said.
"Umn yeah, what-" she was cut off mid-sentence.
"No time for question! You're late! We can take my boat, let's go!" He began to run out, then turned around. "Oh wait! Almost forgot, put these on!" He ran out to his boat after handing Addison some metal armor, Originator artifact colored. She slid it on, just leg armor, but it fit her perfectly, she shrugged and walked out to the rather jumpy mans boat.
