The Side-Effects of Fame(One Direction Fan-Fic)

Chapter 2

*CHAPTER 2*

I was lying in my bed staring at my ceiling while listening to music. I hummed to the tune of "Make You Feel My Love" by Adele. Soon I would walk into my destiny. I felt nervous, happy, anxious and excited all at once. I didn't know what to feel. 

"Max, It's time to go! Are all your things packed?" My mother yelled from downstairs.

"Yes! I'm coming!" I replied.

I quickly grabbed all my bags and dashed down the stairs. I quickly said my goodbyes to my brother, sister and Jacey. I opened the door and went straight to the car. I got inside the car and my mom did the same. She started the car and we drove off.

I looked out the window at all the sights we drove by. Soon we went by Big Ben and the London Eye. I fell asleep for a little and my mom shook me awake.

"Darling we are here." My mom sweetly spoke to me.

"Oh, ok." I suddenly burst into tears. I couldn't stop crying.

"Max love, why are you crying?" My mom held me and shushed me.

"I don't know. I'm just so happy and overwhelmed with all these feelings and I'm going to miss you guys so much." I cried into hee chest.

"I know sweetie, we'll miss you too but you have to go. You can do this I believe in you. I love you so much my darling. You have become an amazing young woman. Now go before they decide you were too late." She had a few tears streaming down her face.

She gave me a kiss and a huge hug and gave her one in return.

'" I love you too mom." Is all I could say.

I got out of the car and grabbed my things from the back and started to walk into the big building. I looked back at the car and my mom blew me a kiss and waved. I pretended to catch the kiss and blew one back and waved goodbye also. I turned back and kept walking. I didn't know exactly where to go so I decided to follow a curly haired boy with a beanie and amazing green eyes inside. I followed him until we got to where we were supposed to be. They split us into our categories. As I was going to mine I bumped into a girl.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so clumsy." I told her.

"Oh no It was my fault." She argued back.

"My names Maxine Crawford by the way." 

"Nice to meet ya. My name is Cher Lloyd." She replied.

We instantly became friends and we were in the same category. We were in the girls category. Simon and the other judges, Sheryl and Louis told us our instructions and we went to go practice our song as one big category. Our category got the song "If I Were a Boy." We practiced the song until it was time to perform. Our category was next to go up and we got in one big horizontal line. From there each person would step forward and sing the part they needed to. When it was my turn I sang the part. Once everyone was done they took us back to wait for the other categories to go. When it was time to announce who got to move on our group went out first. Different peoples names were called.

"The 7th person is...Cher Lloyd." Simon said with much enthusiasm. 

It was time for the final person and I was beggining to get really nervous. I started to loose hope and told myself I was going home. I felt like I was going to puke.

"Now the final person moving on to the next round is..."
