The road to rockbottom

Night before Halloween

'Maya! quick or you'll miss the bus!' Maya turned to see her mate's cooing from the bus door. Spilling coke as she ran towards the gate a hand grabbed her. she turned to see Aidan restraining her. his blue-green eyes staring at her.

'don't get in too much trouble aye..' he smirked. humour filled his face. Maya made a fake insulted face and giggled. she walked off to her bus and sat on lane's lap. Disgusted faces were looking opon them and Maya and Lane where laughing at courtney as she sat on a different seat. 

'poonce' Lane laughed as Courtney fell off the seat. Maya helped Courtney back onto her seat and the senoirs on the bus started up their usual fun including throwing a sandwhich at the bus driver and a whole lot of other shit from the bottom of there bags at everyone. people were throwing paper balls, planes, handballs, empty bottles and banana's. Maya and Courtney ducked and weeved to dodge the flying hazzards. slowly as the old bus dropped off the high school kids the fighting died down and the loud chatter and squeals died down. the bus ride was slow and the girls were able to space out and chill. of course they had to clear off the junk.

when it came to their stop they looked back at the bus to see it traches. it was like a junkyard. the girls giggled and ran off to Maya's house.

'is your bus seriously like that Maya?' Lane asked. picking an apple core out of her hair.

'yeah why?' Maya turned to giggle at Courtney. Lane turned too and started snickering at her aswell.

'what? what are you laughing at?' Maya gestured to her left cheek and coutney put her hand straight into banana mush. 'ew!' she squealed flicking the mush at Lane and Maya. Maya bolted into the backyard of her house and Lane made her way to the door. Courtney caught Lane and smooshed banana mush all over Lane's face. from behind the tall gate maya had climbed over, you could hear her laughing from the other side.

'hey Maya can i have a kiss?' Lane yelled out.

'no way! i hate banana!' they laughed as Maya's mum opened the door and went inside. Maya cleared the gate and stumbled into her house. 'it's too bright out their' she exclaimed as she made her way to her room. She dropped her school bag and faceplanted onto her single bed. Courtney walked past the door and came back to see her friend lying on the mattress. and completely unaware about what was going on around her. she took a couple steps back and ran to jump on Maya. a loud groan bearly escaped her lips. Lane walked into the bedroom and saw the torture that was being executed.

'DOG PILE!" Lane shouted and jumped ontop of courtney. Maya gasped and tried to claw her way from underneath the pile of teenagers. 

'what is it Maya?' Courtney asked as Maya struggled to get out three words.

'I....NEED....AIR!' the girls quickly leaped off and Maya fell to the ground in an overdramatised thanking of god. she breathed in the air and made gestures to the sky like she was thanking jesus. 'Oh My GOD! THANK YOU! OH THANK YOU GOD! OH GOD! OHH GOD!'

'IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR HAVING SEX IN THERE!' shouted maya's mum. 

'Oh yeah totally cause im so gay! oh come here Lane ride me like a pony!' Maya shouted from the floor as courtney screwed up her face in disgust. Lane started laughing and Maya got up and went into the kitchen to get a can of coke. 'you guys want one or are you pespi fans?'

'coke all the way biatch' exclaimed courtney. Maya passed Courtney a can. Lane jus took the can out of Maya's hand and sculled it all on her.

'Gee thanks... well i guess you wanted coke.' Maya said. Lane burped and giggled at Maya's horrified face.

'yeah I'm parched can i have a can?' Lane smirked and took the can from Maya's outstretched arm. Maya brushed back her Cleopatra styled blue-black dyed hair out of her face as she closed the fridge door and went into her room to change. She came back out wearing a plain blue t-shirt and short shorts. Lane and Courtney didn't bother changing out of their Junior Kepnock uniforms. Courtney redid her long, wavy, dark brown pony tail and Lane flicked her curly brass brown hair into a side pony-tail.

'Mum! I'm going for a walk to the beach!' Maya shouted as she slided the glass door open. The girls jogged onto the road and Courtney jumped on Maya's back. 

'oh my god! your double D's r doing a karate chop on my back!' Maya heaved. Courtney slid off Maya's back and whacked Maya over the head.

'dude! they're only C cup!' Courtney whined. The girls laughed and walked down to the nearby beach. kicking the gravel as they crossed the road. The wind blew their hair in their faces as they made it to the private beach only minutes away from Maya’s house. 

‘omg the tides in! I'm going to run straight into the water!’ laughed Maya.

‘but you don’t have swimmers on?’ said Lane. Looking oddly at Maya as she smoothed out her hair.

‘so? I'm at a private beach? And it’s not like I'm going to take my clothes off am i?’ she reasoned.

‘I see your point’ said Lane.

‘you’re still crazy’ said Courtney.

‘I was crazy before?’ said Maya with a confused look on her face.

‘yeah… oh…. I didn’t say it before did i?’ Courtney looked down as she said this.

‘afraid not honey’ replied Lane.

Maya shrugged and ran down to the water. She took a flying leap and created a massive splash with her bomb dive. Lane and Courtney shrugged and followed her in. Lane made a small splash and Courtney walked in slowly.

‘omg this is freezing I'm getting out’ wailed Courtney. 

The girls laughed and trudged out of the salty water. Laughing as they ran down the beach. They made their way over to a big willow tree. They climbed up onto it and seeing as Courtney didn’t get fully wet she had her phone with her. Courtney started playing some panic! At the disco songs and the girls sang loudly and out of tune to I right sins not tragedies. They stayed there for some time taking pictures of them and the scenery around them. The beach was deserted and it was getting dark. So they headed for home. Picking up their stuff they had previously dumped on rocks they made their way home. Quickly stopping at the park to take a while jumping off swings then they rocked up (finally) at Maya’s house. It was about 7:00 when they got back and dinner was waiting for them. Meatlovers pizza and Supreme pizza accompanied by two loaves of garlic bread and 3 bottles of 600ml coke. 

‘oh yum! Pizza!’ Courtney enthusiastically pulled out a chair and began to pick out her food. Maya and Lane shrugged and sat down and began devouring the food.....

....later that night the girls waited for Maya's mum to go to sleep so they could talk without being disturbed....

.....‘so tommorrow? We go for halloween?’ Lane asked as Maya closed her bedroom door. 

'but Halloween is on sunday?' said Courtney. looking confuzed. Maya let out a slightly chilling laugh.

'yeah. but we are going out tomorrow so we can go mess up shit' said Lane. smiling at courtneys shocked face.

'don't worry courtney...we wont get caught...' said Maya as she turned off the light.
