CHAPTER 8
*UNKNOWN POV*
I cant believe this...that stupid alpha Jake has a mate and we just received word of it now?! i wonder how long she has been there but i will soon know everything about this bitch when my sources come to report . but I wish I knew this before I had my plan all figured out! no I will have to make adjustments to kill this Luna of his as well but then again that might not be such a bad idea after all...if we kidnap that Luna and kill her he will go crazy and that will be the perfect time to attack this great pack of his. I smirked at this new plan forming in my head. I didn't care what was going to happen to me as long as I take down his pack. I have been planning this for two years and now its time . i just have to wait till she's marked and then i will put this plan into action. oh how i love the fact that soon i will become the most powerful of all packs and no one will be able to stop ....no one.
*ALEXAS POV*
I'm so nervous to be meeting the pack today. what if they don't like me? what if I'm not a good Luna or the leader they expected to be with their alpha?! my wolf was telling me to quit worrying but how could i?! this is the biggest pack in the country and I'm their female alpha for crying out loud!! i started to feel pleasure on my neck..it was Jake leaving open kisses all over my neck and shoulder. i love this feeling but we were going to be late! im not going to be late if im meeting his pack for the first time. i reluctantly pushed him away. "you cant do that. we are going to be late for the get together with your pack" i looked at Jake seriously but he just smiled down at me "babe relax.. you don't need to be nervous and its our pack not just mine anymore" i let a little smile creep on my lips and tapped his lips with mine running out of the room and heading to the front door before he tried to deepen the kiss. he has been doing that a lot since our little agreement and i don't know why. "duh...because you told his wolf he isn't allowed to mate with us. he's fighting his wolf and that's the only way he can hold him down right now." my wolf wasn't happy about the agreement but she wasn't unhappy either. its just the bond that makes her upset about it. i realized opening the door that i haven't been out side since he brought me to his private house! that is way to long and im surprised my wolf hasn't been itching to come out either! sitting on the front steps waiting for Jake i was enjoying the wind that was hitting my face. back at my old pack i was never allowed outside unless to serve a guest. Jake was finally down and we went straight to his car not wasting anytime to head over the pack house. god im so nervous that my stomach as hurting and i felt a little dizzy. "lex relax its ganna be ok" Jake looked at me with reassuring eyes and then back on the road. when we finally reached the house it was packed! it looked more like a party then a get together but i didn't mind... once the car stopped Jake opened my door pulling me to him and we walked inside. before i could even step a full foot in the house we were crowed by a hole bunch of people asking a lot of questions. Jake saw my discomfort and told everyone they will get to ask there question when the ceremony begins. i looked at him confuse but he said its nothing to worry about. that its only him accepting me in the pack as a member and in my case, the Luna as well. i punched his arm because he didn't tell me that part ..he laughed at my reaction and so did i . i saw everyone start heading over to the seats in the back yard and followed with Jake still holding on to me as if i was going to be pulled away from him any time soon. "its time " was all that Jake said as he dragged me to the stage. we weren't the only ones on the stage though, there was the top fighters , a man and women who looked like Jakes mother and father, and also some other people who i assume was being accepted into the pack as well. The man who looked like Jake introduced himself as his father and i gladly shacked his hand. Jakes mother pulled me into a hug rambling with joy that Jake found his mate and that she would make sure he treated me right. i laughed at this as Jake pulled me back claiming that she was going to hurt me with her hugs. we all took a seat and waited for everyone else the ceremony began with Jakes father talking about the worriers and his mother talking about the packs families and how we can improve on as a pack. after the worriers received there metals, everyone else got accepted into the pack but not me . Jake had to be the one to accept me into the pack because i was his mate and future Luna of the pack. accepting me was a little different then the others had to be accepted. all they had to do was take an oath to protect and love the whole pack not matter what the coast but i had to say the oath and let Jake mark me. this mark wasn't like a mating mark. this mark was Jake accepting me as Luna of the pack and giving me the ability to be mind linked to 2000 other wolfs in the pack! that is a lot of people. almost all the people cheered for me and Jake...almost all. i saw Jen giving me the death glare from inside the house. i just smiled and waved at her like nothing and i saw that she had a bruised eye from the first time we met...if i could do that all over again to her i would. the crowed became silent as Jake tilted my head to get better access to my where my neck and shoulder meet. i felt his fangs brush against my skin and i shivered. before i could even absorb what was happening Jake bit down on me and held me there for a few seconds making sure the mark will stay. after a few he let go and licked my wound so it would heal. everyone cheered as he showed them the mark placed on my neck and i smiled feeling fully connect with the pack at last.
