Chapter 18 part 2
ALEXAS POV
I was running into the woods panting and there are wolfs right behind me. I was right near the border line of my pack were my poor mate is ... No matter how fast I tried to run they seemed to be getting closer. I tripped and fell on the floor hitting my stomach. My wolf whimpered at the harsh fall hitting our unborn pup. Before I had the chance to get up already a man was on top of me flipping me to face him as he took out a knife I gasped waiting for the worst and another two men held my arms and legs. I tried to break free but I couldn't and before I even had a chance to scream for jake the man stabbed my stomach. My wolf and I cried knowing that our pup is gone. The men laughed as I cried for my baby. Just then jake came but it was too late...our baby's dead.

It's been over 2 months since I last saw my mate...2 months!
I woke up crying and yelling. That dream seemed even worse then the others. Iv been having horrible dreams of my baby dying and jake not coming to me in time or at all for that matter. I wish I was with him instead of my crazy father. I don't understand why it's taking jake so long to come and get me...to save me and his pup! My wolf has been silent with me ever since they cut out connection with our mate. It's as if she's given up.
My father came in the room and gave me food on the table." you need to eat if you want that thing inside of you" "a baby you piece of shit! ...my baby" "whatever" Once he had gone I through the food on the floor needing only the metal tray ...I banged it on the window in my room and the alarm went off. I ran to the bathroom like I planned and locked it moving everything I could to block the door. That should take then a while to get through. And with that I broke the lock of my bathroom window (the alarm won't set off with this window because it was already on and no one will hear it) and jumped out heading to my mate. I ran as fast as I could and just as I thought the guard spotted me so i jumped on him fighting until I was able to cut his throat. I bragged him into the woods changing into his cloths as fast as I could. By then there was wolfs everywhere looking for me. I ran to the boarder and just as I was about to cross it I fell from a pain in my heart. My wolf Howled for a mate in pain. It was the pain of betrayal and unfaithfulness...this can't be happening! This isn't true! He wouldn't! He loves me! He wa ganna love this baby! our baby!
I kept running towards the pack house knowing the wolfs are after my sent and are not far behind. When I finally got to the front door I fainted from the pain and with a Big Ban I was on the floor with my hands to my heart...my vision was blurry but I saw a little girl crying and yelling for someone. I couldn't make out anything except someone picking me up...the darkness took over.
JAKES POV
I can't believe it was her...she came back to me... but how? I fell like a total dick for what I did to her. My wolf was beyond pissed at me and her wolf was awake and yelling at my wolf saying god knows what. I just wanted my mate to wake up. I'm so stupid! How could I let it get this far? I shouldn't have stopped trying to get her...I should have tried harder !
Banging the wall I made a hole on it. I'm so stupid and what I did will change our loves forever...I hope she can forgive me and she will have me as hers once again. my wolf was whimpering, he could still feel the pain she was in. he tried to connect to our babies wolf/pup but lex's wolf was blocking us from that. I was pissed that she would try and keep us from knowing our unborn babies wolf but I understand her side too. I just hope we can get through this.
ALEXAS POV
I woke up in a familiar room but my feelings for it have changed. This is jakes room ...and I want nothing to do with it or him. His sent is all over and I'm fighting the temptation to just look for my mate. I heard the shower go off and the door swing open...pretending I was still sleeping I tried to keep my breathing under control.
