Adopted By Taylor Swift

Chapter 2

"Sarah!" Called Taylor, "Time for breakfast!" I put on the my rope and bunny slippers. The soft slippers made my feet feel warm. I trudged downstairs with a tired look in my eyes. I saw Tay's cat Meredith and scratched her behind the ears. The new's was on and today was suppost to be sunny. I sat at the table and Taylor slipped me a plate full of eggs, Hashbrowns, sausage, and bacon. Then she set down my glass of milk and sat in her seat across from me. "Have a good sleep?" she asked smiling her cute smile. "If good means not worrying about getting beaten then yes." I answered and shoved a spoonful of eggs in my mouth. "Mmm, where did you learn to make this?" I asked. "My mom taught me." Said Tay. I smiled and took a drink of milk.

After breakfast I went upstairs and got dressed in a tank and a blue jacket with shorts and tennis shoes. "Can I go for a morning run?" I asked. "Yeah, but good luck making It past people." she said and went to her room. In the cold morning air I could see my breathe hovering like a cloud of smoke from fire. I put on my earmuphs and started jogging down the street. 29 minutes later I sat at a bench and tried to catch my breath. I started singing and I didn't know why. Some people crowded around and it soon filled up to alot more and then a whole lot more. When I realized people were throwing money at me I realized there were people. "Oh, Sorry to disturb you." I said and got up. "No please take the money." said a woman. "I can't it's yours." I said with a smile. "It's our pleasure." said an old man. "Oh, thanks you guys are awesome." I said and gathered the money. I walked back to Tay's house and when I got inside Tay saw the money in my hand and said "Wow, looks like you hit jackpot." "Sorta." I said. I told her how I sang before going upstairs and setting it in a container under my bed. i adapted to the warmth before going downstairs and watching TV with Tay. "Oh, um you forgot something in the limo." said Tay holding up meadow. "Oh, I missed you baby!" I said and held her close to my chest. "Do you mind if I go to the grocery store and get a bag of dog food?" I asked. "Okay, You don't have to ask , If I am here just say where your going and what time you'll be back, and If I'm not here then leave a note on the fridge, Got It?" She asked. "Got it," I said as I walked out. It got really hot so I took my jacket off and tied it around my waist. I put my hair up in a ponytail and kept walking. I saw Food Mart ahead and walked in. The bell rang and the building smelled of caramel and peppermint. I walked down the dog aisle, purchased a collar, a tag with meadow and my phone number, A rubber toy, Flea medicine, and a small bag of dog food. I grabbed the big brown bag and walked out of the store. People talked as I walked by. A boy with a newspaper came up and asked "Where do you live, I haven't seen you around." I whispered in his ear "With Taylor Swift." He handed me a newspaper and said " Then take this to her." I grabbed it and kept walking.

        I set the bag down in my room and put everything on meadow and picked her up. She was the last thing I had left of my real mother. I set her down and she ran off to go play with Meredith. I sat on the floor and went through my bag. I grabbed  my iphone Tay gave me and texted my best friend from school.

Me: Hey girl.

Abby: Where have you been it's summer, everybody thinks you've been kidnapped, your parents have no clue where you are, and yet your texting me!

Me: Listen please don't tell it's not my fault Taylor Swift adopted me!

Abby: Taylor Swift?

Me: Yeah and don't tell anyone got it?

Abby: I don't know I might get in trouble.

Me: Trust me plz!

Abby: Okay fine I think I can manage, but If something goes wrong don't be afraid to ring me up."

Me: I will, Okay catcha later!

Abby: See ya!

   I set my phone on the nightstand and looked at the new's paper under jobs. The only thing that interested me was Friday night singer. I ran downstairs and asked Tay about the job. She said it was okay so I called the manager and I had an appointment at ten. It was 9:00 so I had just enough time to get ready. I got in the shower, dried my hair, did my makeup, put on microphone earrings, got in a dress that was blue with purple swirls, and put on Blue high heels. The dress reached my knees and the heels were tight but other than that I was fine. I took my phone out and I had just enough time to get a ride in the limo to Crowdstar Restaurant. The limo dropped me off and I went inside the studio for my interview. He asked me alot of questions and finally gave me a piece of paper taped together with a work hard sticker. I walked home and didn't look at it until my other shower and when I was dressed in shorts and a T-shirt. My microphone earring were in my jewelry box but I still felt their weight. I took of the sticker and sat on my bed. I was nervous as I opened the note and in big red letters it said YOU PASSED AND CONGRATS FOR YOU NEW JOB, YOU WILL START DAY AFTER TOMORROW. I smiled and had to hold in all the joy and happiness. Tay called me down for lunch and I ate my sandwich and crunched my chips quickly. I played on my phone, read books,  watched a movie, and ate dinner before curling into bed and watching my favorite show. I turned the TV off and fell asleep happy.
