Chapter 3

I opened my eyes sleepily surprised Tay didn't wake me up yet. I put on my robe and bunny slippers that I loved and trudged downstairs. There was a note on the counter that said: Be back by12:00 -Tay

It's only 8:07 so I run upstairs and get my bathing suit on. It's blue with a pink and blue bottom. I grab a towel, sunscreen, and sunglasses on my way to the back of Tay's house. The pool was huge and was waiting for me. I set my stuff down and jumped in. I popped up to the surface just as a girl came. I lowered into the water. Of course I could hold my breath longer than any girl on the swim team. She got in the water and I lowered myself down until my feet were touching the floor. In 10 more seconds my lungs were gasping for breath. I just couldn't go up there. I tried to stop myself but swam up to the surface. I took all the air in. The girl stared at me and said "Who are you?" I looked at her and answered, "My name is Sarah and I live with Tay." Her eyes widened "Oh, I am sorry I just can't resist this pool." I said "Oh, No it's fine."

"Are you sure."

"Yeah."

"Oh, I'm Samantha but call me Sam."

"Nice to meet you Sam."

"Hey can I ask you something."

"Sure."

"Do you like wanna be friends?"

"What kind?"

"Best."

"Sure I just moved here and have no friends."

"Well you do now."

"I won't tell Tay about you."

"Thanks."

"Hey do you want to go to the mall?"

"Sure."

I got out of the pool and ran upstairs. I got dressed in skinny jeans, boots with no heels, A tank with and overcoat, and put my hair in a ponytail. I grabbed my 230 dollars from under the bed and went downstairs. "You ready?" asked Sam. "Yeah." I said and Wrote a note and stuck it to the fridge it said: Hey heading out with new bestie to spend money at the mall, be back by about 1:00

We walked out the door and into the streets.

"This place is huge." I said as we walked inside the super sized mall. We stopped at  the nail place to get our nails done. I chose Lime green and bright orange. When we were done with that we went shopping and got tons of clothes. We stopped at The Food Palace and ate. We then played Lazer  Tag and hoped not to throw up. We also went bundgie jumping, watched a movie, Shoe shopping,got our makeup done, and got a mesadge. I walked home with Sam and she left. I put everything up and realized Tay was in the living room. "Have fun?" she asked. "Yeah It was awesome." I answered and flopped on the couch to watch Criminal Minds. Meadow ran in and jumped on my stomach. "Hi baby!" I said. Tay switched the TV to the News and my picture showed up and at the bottom it said Missing girl, If found call 911. Tay switched off the TV and buried her head in her hands. "You didn't tell them?!" She screamed at me. "I didn't have time!" I shouted. "Go to your room now!" She said ,"Now!" I winced and picked meadow up and ran to my room. I locked the door and sunk to the warm floor with tears streaming down my face. Meadow came and laid down beside me. I stroked her soft fur.

Taylor's P.O.V.

I can't believe this! I picked up the phone but set it back down on the counter. I could hear Sarah crying. I sighed and just crawled in bed. I wish I could help but I can't. I fell asleep leaving Sarah to cry herself into taking a nap.
