Hey lovelies! An update! Finally! That's a fault on my part. I just got a storm of ideas for this story, so i hope you like it!

Okay I'm going to stop blabbing and let you read so enjoy!

Riley's POV:

"I think you should wear that one, the flowers bring out your eyes." Rachel said pointing to the dress in the middle of my bed. I looked at her exasperated. "That is the tenth time you have changed your mind." She thought for a second. "Yeah but, I've chosen that one five times so obviously that one is the best." She said nodding. I sighed. "Fine. I'll wear that one. Now we have to do my make-up. Let see how long this will take." I said muttering the last part.

We both got up and walked over to my mirror. I sat down while she went to grab for the concealer. "Close your eyes. I'm going to suprise you." I looked up at her. "That doesn't sound like a good idea." She put her hand over her heart, acting offended. "Hey! I am training to be a make-up artist. I know what I'm doing." I sighed in defeat. "I don't have a choice do I?" She shook her head. "No not really." She said as I shut my eyes.

I felt cool cream on my face as she rubbed in the concealer all over my face. When she was done, I heard her blow lightly. It must have been on a powder pad because I felt a flat surface wipe across my face. The cool surface relaxed my nerves for the time being. Until Rachel brought up the one thing that was making me nervous. "So are you excited?" She said as she glided the liquid eye liner across the top of my eye. I shrugged. "Don't move." She said distracted. I sighed. "I don't know. He didn't tell me where we were going." She was now brushing powder around my eyes. I could imagine her rolling her eyes and flicking her long brown hair back to see me better. I felt her brush mascara up my lashes. "What?" She sighed as I heard her twisting off the cap of a tube. "Pucker." I did as I was told. "All I know is that you'll be excited when you see my master piece. Rub your lips together then open your eyes."

I stood up and opened my eyes. "Violla!" She said. I stared at the reflection. She wasn't joking when she said she was qualified. "Rachel, this is..." She put her hands up. "I know, I know. I'm a genious." I chuckled. "I'm never doubting you with make-up again." She winced. "That hurts. But I'll let it pass since I love you." My eyes looked like they were covered in fairy dust. There was a light tint to my cheeks. My eyelashes looked fake they were so good. And there was a light pink shimmer to my lips. It was amazing. I turned around to give her a hug. But instead the dress of choice was thrown at me. "No hugs I don't want my work of art to get messed up. Now go get dressed." I laughed. "Yes sir." She plopped down on my bed. "I'll get you for that later."

I walked into the bathroom taking off my robe. I slipped on the dress we picked out. The top was white with gold buttons which cut off at the middle of my torso. The skirt of the dress was high and low with a cut in the middle. It had a floral print with dark blue, pink, and burgundy roses on an off white background. I looked in the mirror. My hair was curled pushed over to one side pinned back with a flower. I was pulled out of my thoughts with the doorbell. I rushed into my room startling Rachel. I slipped on my cream colred ballet flats. I turned to Rachel. "I look ok?" She smiled. "Like a fairytale princess." I smiled gratefully at her. I opened my door and walked outside with Rachel at my heels.

I made my descent down the stairs feeling like a princess. Jackson was talking too my dad when I saw him. He was wearing a blue dress shirt with black jeans. He looked so handsome I almost tripped on the stairs, and I wasn't even wearing heels.

I guess he heard me because he looked up when I got to the bottom of the staircase. He had a bouquet chrysanthemums in his hand. My favorite flower. I smiled when I saw them. "Wow." I heard him breathe. I felt the heat touch my cheeks. "Really?" He nodded speechless. "You look perfect." He said. I looked up my face was probably cherry red. "Shut up." He held out his hand. "May we go mi'lady?" I laughed. "Lead the way." I said grabbing his arm. And with that we walked out into the cool night air for the best night of my life.
