THE APPRENTICES

Chapter Eleven

Robin pulled his sister through the maze of crowds who followed like sheep, as they hurried in non straight lines. As the siblings weeved inbetween the wondering bodies they did so with caution. The troubling sounds of strange abrupt goings on made the hairs in Robins neck stand up. Suddenly an abrupt violent outburst was screamed from the mouths of the town's people as they fled. Several petrifying gun shots exposed with great rage in all random directions. People darted behind the market stalls and attempted to dodge the killing bullets, as they whizzed with the wind passsed their ears. Others leapt into the ground below and remained there like fallen statues. Pretending to be dead. Robin instinctively forced Terra behind him as  he signaled for them to lower their bodies into a crouch  posistion. Sneaking swiftly behind one of the closest stalls, Robin locked eye contact with the tall, muscular man who held the long mighty weapon strictly within his palms. His masked face boldly confronted members of the public as they lay stiff on the pavements beneath them. Each with sorrowfilled eyes that seemed to drain tears as they wept softly. Not wanting to attract more attention. Terra clenched her pale fists, narrowing her eyes. Robin did the same, he showed anger through harshly gritted teeth. His fierce blue eyes filled with injustice and a dispicable aura.

"Siblings Robin and Terra, show yourselves now...or these pathetic excuses for people will die!". Terra was adiment to put an and to this unnessiary horrific violence. Robin, however, was eager to keep his own safe. Then seconds passed with no progress from the siblings to proceed with the armored man's request. Eventually it struck the siblings on the identity of the man. Rouge. Rouge aggressively attacked the innocent man who lay only a meter or so beneath him. Kicking him forcefully within the stomach, gasping in excruciating pain, his screams and desperate cries filled the air surrounding  them all. With every brutal kick, each agonising still, crimson liquid flower from the man like a waterfall. The amount of bloodshed was unbearable to behold. Now the man's once fresh brown suit and plain white shirt was nothing more than an ocean of blood as it flooded the pavement below him battered and bruised body. His face swelled as blood exited from his pink lips. Rouges enhanced strength have him more power in his little finger than what would normally be in a fully grown man's body.
"We need to fight back, you know when I said never to use your powers?". Robin asked, turning to his sister and giving her an adiment stare, Terra said nothing but instead nodded in conformation. "Well use them, these peoples lives are at stake and we cannot just leave them!". He added. Terra grunted a yes without words.

The high energy glow appeared once more around Terra's fists as she began to emerge from the stall hiding location  she was met with the clever disguised face of Rouge. He chuckled to himself as he gestured a black gloved hand down to the deceased man's body before he nuged him with his booted foot and then slid him across the pavement. "Hello little girl". He said with a malicious tone,  His words were filled ignorance and malice. "What do you want?". Terra spat at him her pupils small and anger filled. Rouge laughed as he removed his robe like cover and throw it swiftly to the ground alongside the bodies that occupied the space. "Just a chance to talk really". He fired back with a slow manner. Then unexpectedly he lunged for Terra and began to make punches at her. She leapt back and made her palms dance at her command the yellow aura present at her fingertips.

"Mind if I talk with my hands!". She asked rhetoricaly. Her eyes like a stormy ocean as enabled rocks to fly forward aiming for Rouges large body. Suddenly A figure with slight muscular structure fell atop of Rougue's wide shoulders. He then grabbed an inknown weapon from his belt. However before he was able to deliver the first strike, Rouge harshly locked his hands in the boys clothes and tossed him off of his shoulders and into Terra. With a grunt and a gasp it was clear it was infact Robin who had bravely acted. Terra raised both her hands and therefore equaled for two large like colunms to rise with a crackling ear grinding sound. Rocks and mud stuck solid together and with a forward motion and transforming her hands into fists. Terra allowed the columns to bend and to lunge at Rouge with a violent shudder.  The ertg shifted and vibrated with an undeniably strong force. Robin pulled out a small pole like object that with a click of a single green button the pole suddenly extended with a vast length. Robin charged at Rouge and aimed to strike him however Rouge would occasionally leap back and at times he would clash arms with Robins weapon. Terra continues to split open the earth beauty them and grunt as each split,crackle and tear in the pavement drained her strength. As she now tried to hold her power over the earth.
