"This is so stupid, I can't believe we have to go!!" My sister Kassey basically screamed while throwing one of our suitcases into the trunk of dad's car.
"Kassey stop complaining and go get that box over there." My mom said. My sister groaned and pushed past me to the front porch.
You see my parents planned out our whole summer. They wanted to spend some quality family time with our grandma who by the way lives in Ohio.. we live in Colorado. My sister is mad about the whole thing. Me on the other hand could care less. I am actually happy to see grandma and if we didn't go I would've just sat in my room reading and making lame videos.
I was on my phone making an edit of Glenn Rhee when something wacked me in the face. I picked up the pillow that was laying on my arms.
"Come on loser, stop making that stupid video and get in the car." Of course it was Kassey.

After the long car ride we were finally in Galloway, Ohio. I was half asleep, drifting into a silent slumber from the exaustion of listening to Kassey complain about how there was no wifi and having to pee.
I was almost completly asleep until we hit a BOMP. I jolted up with wide eyes. Since now there was no way of falling back to sleep. I just stared out the window. Listening to my mom and dad bickering about how to get to grandma's.
We finally made it to our grandma's house. Dad honked the horn a couple times causing an old woman to fling open the screen door to her house and scream with joy.
Grandma Lucy, my mom's mom, stood on the porch and hugged each one of us as we walked in with our bags. Grandma's house looked like your average old person's home. An old grandfather clock, an old fancy couch, a lot of pillows and blankets neatly folded, pictures of the whole family hung up on the walls , and even a cat named Zuzu.
"Wow, I can't believe that cat is still alive." My mother said. Her and my grandmother started to walk into the kitchen. My dad following in persuit. My sister just sat down on the couch on her phone. I took my camera out of my bag and asked dad if I could walk around. He said sure so I went out to vlog and make a dramatic like video. I started to film the road I was walking on and all the places and houses.
"We made it here.. Galloway, Ohio. Grandma seems the same. She's still got Zuzu though. I thought I would go on an adventure by myself."
I ended up at a Dollar General store. I stopped walking to check my phone, with my camera still in hand filming the view in front of me which was nothing really. All of a sudden I heard the sound of wheels riding over the rocky road and an 'oh crap' along with it. I looked up to see a boy on a penny board. Before I could prosess what was happening the boy slammed into me causing me to loose balance and fall backwards, the boy falling next to/ half onto me .
The boy sat up with shock and fear written on his face. I sat up too.
"Holy crap are you okay."
"This isn't how people are supposed to say hello." I tried to joke while applying pressure to my aching back.
"Haha that wasn't supposed to happen. I was trying to fix the lighting on my camera and ha you know what happened.." he said sort of nervous.
I laughed, "Don't worry about it. I'm fine, you're fine, my camera isn't fine.!" I noticed my camera was laying lense first on the ground.
I stood up and went to my camera. I checked to see if it was okay. I crouched down andslowly picked it up, scared that it was broken. I heard footsteps come up behind me while I was checking for damages.
"Oh my gosh, did your camera break?! I can buy you a new one.! I'm so-"
"No no It's fine. It's okay just a small scratch." I said standing up smiling.
"Oh thank goodness. I really am sorry though." He said laughing. Causing me to laugh.
"Really It's okay no harm done, well except my back." I said still laughing. He had a slight grimice when I said that about my back.
"Ha well anyway I'm Kyle." He said reaching his hand out towards me.
"Maria." I said smiling while we shook hands.
I took in all his features and froze. I can't believe I didn't notice this before. Its Kyle David Hall. I thought he was going to be at Warped all summer.
"Are you okay?.."
"Huh oh sorry it's just wow." I said still shocked. "You're Kyle like as in Kyle David Hall. Holy hole in a donut Batman.!"
Kyle started to smile even more. He laughed a little.
" Yeah thats me. Haha"
"Oh my- I didn't even realise it until now.! Excuse me, I'm just going to go die." I said while getting ready to go fall over into a bush. I felt a hand gentley grab my wrist pulling me back.
"Hey now, you can't leave just yet." Kyle said chuckling. I could not stop smiling at this point.
