What is THIS!? An update? Wow, it took me long enough.
To compensate, I made it a little longer than usual. For some reason, after I linked the video, wattpad wouldn't let me link a picture so I'm putting Ms. Bell up here.
Ella's POV
She grinned at the students and waited for just before the chorus. She started with a step forward, following the rhythm of the music and let her hands ghost over and down her chest. She gave a turn and tilt of her shoulders, gliding into the next motions. She hit the chorus with an aggressive, but graceful spin and didn't hold back when her body popped to the music that resembled an erratic heartbeat. She dipped down and gave an almost seductive swirl of her hips and came back up then transitioned into a body roll. She turned, brought her hands over her head spun back around, and gave another dramatic swirl of her hips, grinning as she walked forward and matched the beat with a pop of her knees. She finished off with almost arrogant brush of the hand over her head and posed.
Ms. Bell was the first to applaud with the rest of the class following her soon after. Ella glanced at Logan to see something close to mildly impressed as he clapped with the rest of the class. Ms. Bell tossed her a bottle of water and she took a couple sips to quench her thirst then nodded to her teacher. The sound of "Worth It" by Fifth Harmony echoed through the room and she started up a flirtier, feminine dance that she was sure most girls in the class would like to try.
This dance relied a lot on her sense of balance, coordination, and flexibility alternating between quick and aggressive to more sensual motions. Quick transitions, a lot of pivots, fast footwork, and the aforementioned points made this dance more difficult and the look on the students' faces said that they could tell. Many of the students who had looked a bit arrogant deflated a bit, possibly thinking they could ace this class then realizing the difficulty of the routines. Ella finished off with a flirty pose and bowed.
She hopped off the stage and sent a proud smirk in Logan's direction. He waved off her display of arrogance and sent her a mocking eye roll. Had this exchange been between anyone else it might have been playful.
"Of course I don't expect anyone to simply ace this course, it requires more effort and determination than one might originally assume, so we'll start with conditioning!" Mrs. Bell's enthusiasm was hardly widespread. A lot of the students were already groaning in protest. Logan smirked and puffed out his chest a little, soccer had brutal conditioning as it was, however there was something about Mrs. Bell's methods, as well as the fact that this was modern dance not soccer, that would throw the boy for a loop. Ella tried to hide a grin, Logan Ashford shouldn't be so overly confident, not when Mrs. Bell was involved.
The whole class lay on the floor, aching in places they didn't know could ache. Logan wasn't fairing much better, the wall the only thing keeping his knees from collapsing under him. Ella wiped away the sweat that beaded along her upper lip and swiped at stray hairs that clung to her forehead. Mrs. Bell was hardly winded and beamed at the class, "Perhaps fifty reps. was a bit too much to ask from first timers. Only twenty reps., really? Only Logan and Ella made it past that point and Logan barely made it. Applause to the boys' soccer captain," mocking tone irritated the lone male and he would have argued had he been able to catch his breath. Ella arched a brow and mimicked his trademark smirk, "Not as easy as you thought huh?"
