Maya pov

I hate the idea that my best friend is in a coma. Also that her boyfriend dumped her for me. It's killing me inside.

Matthews didn't make me go to school today cause of what happen.He just gave us a A on the assignment. I was at the hospital today I tried to speak to Riley but I couldn't.

I don't like to see her in pain. Cause it hurts to much inside. I am having Lucas tell her why he dumped her cause he knows why I just can't.

Riley pov

I can see a light it's very bright I don't like it. I think I'm waking up. But where am I, who am I all I remember is my name is Riley Matthews and I have amazing boyfriend named Lucas.

And im seeing him I say " Lucas is that you?"

Lucas pov

I hear Riley say my name and I replied"yes" Then I ask "what do u remember?"She says"My name and that your my boyfriend."

I call Maya to tell her Riley is awake and she thinks we are still dating.

Maya pov

I head to the hospital to see her. When I get there I see Lucas and tell him "We are over cause of Riley." He says "okay." Then I go to her room she say "Maya what was that all about in the other room"I say "nothing" "I'm getting out tomorrow"I said "good"

Monday

Riley pov

I am at school Lucas and Maya are constantly watching me. I don't really don't care. The one part I really like is that to each class Lucas gives me a piggyback ride and Maya is carrying the books. We go to are lockers I get everything. Then we are off to the cafe.

When we get there we get are orders and start talking for an hour or two. Then we left Lucas and I get to the bay window and lean in.
