It started in second grade when I was just a little too innocent. Back then I was new, a transferring student from Topeka, after my grandpa died we went back to our own house in Tallahassee. You see, before I was born my grandpa Tom was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and no one was there to help him so my mom and dad volunteered. He was a wise old chap as what I would have remembered when my sis asks my mom because she was not born yet when we were taking care of him.
On the first day of school i was a little shy. Kids were running around meeting each other and deeply smiling while i was there in front of the Seaview Prep School thinking of my future here as a successful grade schooler. People stared at me. Well I can't deny it but I was super cute in my blue dress partnered with butterfly pin on my hair and a rabbit designed bag. Cool right? Not. Because my-not-so-bright, soon-to-be mortal enemy was also staring. Hah! Since I was new i did not know anyone so i came straight to her to ask.
"Umm, excuse me can you please tell me where the principal's office is?" Being polite and all i spoke.
But then she just stared at me like I did an unforgivable thing.
"Uhh.... Are you talking to me? Cause if yes, I don't talk to losers." She said in the most rude way she could do. Talk about a major bummer!
"But if you want to know me then i will gladly sign your paper with my name Clarisse de Vane and picture on it. My dad is Kendrick de Vane and his an amazing surfer. Wait, surely you do know him?"
I hate girls who think they own the whole world. I mean, I can read her nametag because its plastered on her red blouse in capital letters "CLARISSE DE VANE". Duh.
"Yeah. Me and my family just moved here. Nice school." Yes. I know i am being polite. That was my mistake back then and i already learned a lesson which is going to be useful to you.
"I.R.D.C. Can you give me a favor?"
"What?" I rolled my eyes at her. I.R.D.C.-I REALLY DONT CARE!
"Please dont wear that wonderful dress. Its too fashionable on you. Toodles! Girls lets go."
And that was the day I stopped wearing girly dresses.
LESSON # 1: NEVER ASK AN OPINION FROM A BITCH.
Since Miss Vain ala Rude with her evil minions left me hanging there i was stumped. Never have I experienced that kind of insult.
"Hi."
Oh. I forgot. He was in this memory. My first.
"What!?" Being angry and embarrassed by what Clarisse said I shouted at HIM.
"WOAH. Don't be mad at me. I'm not the one who insulted you."
Before I could reply he suddenly said, much to my interest,
"The name's Chace, Chace Andrews."
"Alexandra Blair Parker. But you can call me Blair."
We shake hands like old time buddies.
That was the start of my ever fruitful friendship. But sadly........
Its not.
Forward to the present, in case you're wondering what happened after that blessed and cursed day of my life, I am personally begging you NO!
Seaview High.....sigh.... Its really a cool one. The reason that i am not in the mood with it was because in every start of the school year Chace Andrews plays a prank on yours truly. (Don't get confused. WE ARE NOT FRIENDS. DEFINITELY NOT.)
"Alex! Wait for meeeeehhhhh!"
Speaking of friends, the one who shouted is my bestfriend, Bethany Elise Collins. She is DEFINITELY MY BEST BUD EVER! Unlike someone....
