He was taller then I thought in person. He was a tall silhouette standing against the moonlight. I walked up to him, both of us silent. Soon we were facing each other. I knew his eyes were green from before, but I couldn't see the color. I just saw the whites of his eyes as he took me in. He drew in a long breath, and then suddenly his hand was cupping my cheek.
"Holly..." He breathed.
I gulped and he drew me in with a tight hug. He smelt like cigarettes and an odd mask of Christmas tree. The top of my head lined up with his shoulders and he felt bony, but secure.
"Let's go." He muttered, pulling away. I nodded and tossed my suitcase into the back seat. The car was nice, and I wanted to ask how he afforded it, but I knew I shouldn't.
The ride was silent, Harry stealing glances at me as I rested my head on the seatbelt. My eyes were hooded with tiredness but the feeling of exhilaration kept me awake, buzzing through my chest.
I had no idea where we were going. I had no idea what our future held. But I knew Harry, and I trusted him.
"Want one?" Harry asked and I blinked sleepily at the cigarette he held in front of me. I grimaced as I shook my head. Soon he had the radio on and he took long drags of his cigarette, flicking the ash out the window every once in a while.
I hadn't realized I was staring, but something was so enchanting about the man as he blew smoke out of his mouth. His hair was combed back at the top but his curls lay lazily on his shoulders. Something about him screamed dominance and strength.
I had known Harry for a while now but I couldn't help but feel intimidated by the man who had taken me away from everything I hated back home.
He reached across the seat, and closed his fingers around mine. My heart sped up, and I let out a shaky breath, which caused him to quirk his mouth into a smirk.
Immediately my hand started sweating, and I tried to nonchalantly press it into my jeans but this just caused him to press his palm to mine. I cringed and he chuckled and turned to face me.
"Go to sleep Holly. I'll wake you up when we get to the hotel." He smiled. It was almost like his words alone lulled me into sleep, because a minute or two later I was asleep.A/N: You guys! Hey!
