Ch. 4: Savior

  His high pitched call for help could be heard across the country. It made Tsukishima's ears ring.

His tiny, cold heart fought against his chest as he picked up the pace if that was even humanly possible. Well, to protect Yamaguchi, Tsukishima could do anything.

As soon as the group turned the corner with the blonde in the lead, their fears were confirmed.

Yamaguchi lay pinned on the grass, bloody, bruised, and worst of all, with his pants around his ankles.

Rage powered inside Tsukki, giving him the energy to swiftly punch Dazai off of his best friend. Tanaka and Noya jumped the other two standing astounded in the background while Daichi and Tsukishima continuously threatened the now terrified third year.

Hinata clung to Yamaguchi, pulling the boy as close as possible so he could cry onto his shoulder.

After a minute or two, Suga helped Yamaguchi carefully adjust his pants and stood him up.

The freckled child was shaking and sobbing uncontrollably. As soon as things died down, meaning the second years had chased off the bullies, everyone turned to Yama.

The first one to even dare move was Tsukishima, wrapping his right arm around Yama's back and the other gripping onto his now messy hair. Even the usual cow lick had been moved out of place.

"T-Tsukki..." His words were cracked, choked sobs that broke everyone's heart.

Hinata moved closer, letting his own tears fall as he gripped onto Tadashi's shoulder. "I-I'm so sorry...this...it's my fault..."

Kageyama, going into protective mode, pulled the orange haired kid into his chest and gently stroked his back. It took about ten minutes of complete silence for both teammates to stop their sobbing.

"We're going to tell the dean about this...and there will be serve consequences for their...actions..." Daichi was fuming, his hands clenched at his sides.NO ONE harms any of his baby crows.

Sugamama felt the same, gripping the sleeves of his jersey.

Slowly and carefully, Tsukishima tossed Yamaguchi's body into his arms so he was carrying him bridal style and headed back towards the gym.

The glare in his eyes could make anyone stop dead in their tracks.

Kageyama let Hinata cling to his arm as he followed the two, the senpais in tow. Suga was the first to grab the first-aid kit to patch his children up.

Every time Yama winced, Tsukki would squeeze his hand gently. The two broken boys were clinging to each other with their 'body guards', Tsukishima and Kageyama, on either side.

"Hey..." The blonde whispered, glancing to his left. "I think....all three of you...should stay over tonight. My parents aren't home and...it'll make 'them' feel safe..."

Now, he was taking more to Kageyama who nodded. Everyone else that was grouped along with them on the gym floor looked both shocked and content.

Yamaguchi let out a small chuckle. "Thanks, Tsukki...you really are amazing..." His cheeks heated up, but to keep his cool, Mr. Salty looked away to focus on some small stain on the gym floor.

"Shut up, Yamaguchi..." He mumbled, obviously somewhat embarrassed. This made his friend even more gleeful.

"Gomen, Tsukki.."
