(Matt's POV)
Riding the train to Comic con was definitely not one of the highlights of Matt Watson's life. His Captain America cosplay was drawing a lot of unwanted attention. Thankfully, he got to share the unwanted embarrassment with his best friend Mark, who was dressed as Batman.

The train pulled in to the station 30 minutes later. Mark and him attempted to hail a taxi, and it took many tries to get one, as all the drivers thought the two men were insane due to their appearance. "I heard that the Joker guy we saw on Instagram is gonna be there", Mark said. He was referring to a man known as Jacksepticeye, who's a famous cosplayer. Mark's favorite of his cosplays is the Joker, hence the reason he chose to go as Batman today.
"Are you actually going to talk to him this time? Or are you just gonna gaze at him from afar like always?", Matt asked him. "Hey I talked to him that one time!", Mark interjected. "Asking him for a pen doesn't count."
"Well now I have an excuse to talk to him", he said as he gestured to his costume. "Good luck with that", Matt responded, laughing to accentuate his disbelief that Mark would ever build up the courage to strike up a conversation with Jack.
The rest of the cab ride passed quickly as him and Mark talked about his plan to woo Jack. They pulled up to the center and Matt was amazed at just how big the building was and how many different fans there were. The two of them walked between the different booths and some other cosplayers asked for pictures with him. After taking a picture with a great cosplay of Peggy Carter, a young girl approached him.
"Can I take a picture with you and Bucky, Captain America?", she asked. Confused, Matt looked behind himself and a man stood there in the best Bucky Barnes cosplay he had ever seen. "I don't think we should rob this girl of a picture, Cap.", the man spoke, with a hint of humor in his voice.
"Y-yeah of course", Matt stumbled out, as he was kind of mesmerized by the build of this man. We took the picture with girl and she happily skipped back over to her father. "The names Ryan by the way", he said smirking back at me.
"Matt", The boy couldn't help the blush that appeared on my face as he introduced myself. "See you around, Matt",he said with what seemed to be his usual air of confidence.
He almost missed the wink Ryan threw at him as he walked back over to whom Matt presumed was his friend.
"Holy shit", Matt whispered under his breath. The friend the Ryan had returned to just so happened to be someone dressed in a very amazing Joker cosplay.
"Mark Mark Mark Mark Mark!!!!!!", Matt must have looked insane as he began sprinting back to his friend. "Jesus, Matt what are you so worked up about?" Matt's brain to mouth filter must have quit at that moment because words began spilling from my mouth with no control, "Well this girl wanted a superhero picture with Captain America and Bucky, and just so happens that Bucky is super hot, and his name is Ryan and I think he was flirting with me and he's really cute".
He had to stop my tangent because breathing is apparently necessary for survival, so Mark chose this time to interrupt. "Okay so basically you have a crush on someone?"
"Yes Mark get with it!", he replied still short of breath. "Oh and I forgot the best part! He's friends with Jack".
"Why didn't you start with that?!", Mark all but shouted back at him. "I was too focused on Ryan/Bucky!", Matt countered.
A look of what looked like determination crossed Mark's face as he thought about what he was going to say next. "Okay, so you work up the courage to go back and talk to him, and while he's talking to you I'll go over and try not to make a fool of myself as I try to talk to Jack."
Matt thought this over and couldn't find anything too bad with this plan, and nodded in approval. Mark grinned back at him and said "Operation: Get Us Super Hot Boyfriends is a go!"
Matt laughed at his friend's dorkiness and slapped the hand that Mark held up in a high-five. "Let's do this".
