A Mothers Love (Horrible chapter name, I know 😂)

"Daisy," I mewed,"will any of us stay with you?"

"No, my darling daughter. You will move to other twolegs next to me, so we can visit eachother." Daisy answered.

Why would we be taken away from our own MOTHER?? I wondered. It's really stupid. "Do I have to leave you?" I asked.

"Yes," Daisy purred," you don't want to be stuck with an old cat like me! Also, you will be chosen. You will go to a nice home, in two sundowns! While I'm stuck here."

"But DAISY! I want to stay with you!" I pleaded. Daisy looked at me then looked at my siblings.

"How come you're so sad as they're playing? Why don't you want to leave like them, Stripe?" Daisy asked.

"I just don't wanna leave you." I mumbled. Daisy shook her head.

"You and I will be fine, I promise! Now, go play with your siblings before you all have to go."

I walked over to my other four siblings. Two were toms and the other two were she cats. One of my sister's, Petal, looked like me, but she had black legs and a black tail. My other sister, Ash, was greyish white, like my mother. But Daisy was darker.

My brother, Oreo, was black with white mixed in there. He looked more like our father, who was a wild cat. My other brother, Spot, was grey with white spots.

I went over and jumped into the pile. We were wrestling and just being kits! I was on top of Oreos back as he was in the ground trying to get me off of him.

Spots was helping me as he wrestled both Petal and Ash so they couldn't get to me and pull me off of Oreo! I was just about to nip him lightly when Daisy came over.

We stopped immediately and stood in a line. "Twolegs are coming to look at you guys and see if they'll bring you home in two sundowns!" She said exitedly.

"I want you all groomed and I'm you're best behavior, I want my kits to grow up in a living home!" She also said, even more exited.

We all started grooming ourselves and got done before the twolegs came in. We all played nicely with eachother and did as our mother asked.

Most of them pointed at Oreo or Spots. They looked at them like they wanted them. Only a few pointed at me, probably because I was small. I was the smallest of my litter and I have stone grey eyes.

All of the others pointed at everyone else. I tried my best but I hope we all get into great loving homes!

I played with my mother's tail and wrestled with my siblings to show I was tough. Soon it was time for them to go and we all finally got to sleep.

I woke up to Oreo and Ash wrestling and everyone else was just laying around. "Morning, Stripe." Petal said to me.
"Morning, Petal." I answered.

I got up and stretched. I walked to our good dish and ate some breakfast. As soon as I was done, I joined into Spot and Petals conversation.

"It looked like they wanted you!" Petal said to Spot. "I doubt it." Spot replied. I laid down by Petal and listened to their conversation.

"Just you wait. You're gonna be the first one out of here, unless Oreo or Ash is." Petal said. I didn't miss the fact that she didn't say me. Whatever.

"Yeah, well... I don't know about that..." their conversation went on and on so I just stopped listening.
