I awoke the next morning with the same feeling of dispair burning through my body, and images of the last couple days running through my brain. The only thing that got me out of bed was Luke cheerfully bursting into the room and the smell of bacon drifting in behind him.
"Michael!" He exclaimed. I groaned.
"Michael, baby, get up. Please?" He sighed.
I groaned once more.
"What, Luke?" I finally questioned, since he hadn't left yet.
"It's snowing!" He exclaimed.
"What?" I asked, my eyes opening.
"Mhm. And I made breakfast." He added.
Sighing, I forced myself to get up.
He practically dragged me to the kitchen, where there were two plates loaded with waffles and bacon.
"Thank you Luke." I told him.
"No problem. I wanna see you smile again." He replied.
"Good luck." I mumbled.
He frowned a little.
"Michael, I love you so much. I'm going to do whatever it takes to see you happy." He said, his icy blue eyes staring right into my dead green ones.
"I want Lilly back." I stated.
His eyes broke their stare when he looked down at the table.
"I know you do. But that can't happen. You know Samantha would win against us in court. It wouldn't even be very wise to go into court at all. Because then there's a good chance that they'd find out about Josh and all those people and that wouldn't be good." He told me.
"I know that Luke! If I didn't I wouldn't have just let the baby go like I did!" I exclaimed.
"Mike, calm down." He told me.
"No, Luke! I want my fucking daughter back! And I can't have her because you wanna deal drugs and shit! So I have to just suffer and be unhappy because of you!" I shouted.
A look of pain crossed his face for a minute.
"I- I'm sorry you feel that way." He mumbled, looking at his hands.
"Luke." I sighed. I felt guilty and all together horrible.
"No Michael. It's fine." He said.
"Luke, I didn't mean it." I responded.
"Michael, leave me alone." He coldly said, looking into my eyes again.
He got up and walked into our bedroom.
Fuck. I fucked up.
I brought my knees to my chest and rested my chin on them, tears beginning to escape my eyes.
Why did I have to say that?
I was so stupid.
After a few minutes, the door opened and the silence was broken.
"Hey guys! Michael?" Calum exclaimed, then looking worried at me.
"I fucked up Cal. I fucked it all up. He hates me." I said.
Calum took me to the couch and sat next to me.
"What?" He asked.
"I- I got mad. I yelled at him. I s- said that he was the reason I'm not happy. A- and he got upset and went to our room. He hates me now. He hates me Calum, I fucked it all up." I explained.
"Michael, he doesn't hate you. Want me to talk to him?" He offered.
I shrugged.
"I will after I calm you down." He said.
"He doesn't hate you Michael. It hurt him because he loves you and I know he's been trying to make you happy again. He knows that it will take a lot of effort, and he doesn't care. He's willing to do anything to see you happy. He loves you so much." He told me.
"I promise he loves you. And you didn't fuck anything up. I'm sure he'll understand. He loves you." He added.
"Yeah" I answered.
He smiled slightly.
"It'll be okay, Michael." He softly said.
I shrugged.
Then Josh walked in the door and anger filled me again.
"Hey douche. Where's Luke?" He demanded.
"What the fuck do you want!?" I almost yelled.
"Luke called me crying because of you. I'm taking him out for the day." He shrugged.
A minute later, Luke walked out and looked at me.
"See you later I guess." He said.
He left with Josh.
Kinda short sorry guys
And yeah I know it's July but shhh it's snowing bc I want Christmas to happen soon. Okay? Okay.
