A massive, green hand is flying through the solar system. It's targeted for Earth, as it makes it way past stars and planets alike. "Approximately 10,650 miles away from the destination known as Earth. The ship will arrive in averaged 3 to 4 hours." "Ugh, could this thing go ANY slower?!", Peridot mumbled as she hit the holographic keyboard, her arms phasing though it. Jasper was standing behind her, staring off through the observation glass into space. "I just want to get there so I can beat Rose's face into the ground. That'll make this stupid mission worth it." Peridot scoffed, "It's always violence with you, isn't it? What happens if they're stronger than you?" Stronger than me? Not possible, I'm an elite quartz. Only Rose could have the strength to take on me." Peridot shook her head dismissively, and continued typing information into the computer. Jasper continually stared into the abyss, until she saw herself and Peridot in the window's reflection. "Peridot, what are you doing?" Peridot was surprised Jasper actually asked, and responded, "Well, right now I'm just filing documents, nothing really interesting." Jasper snickered, almost interested. "Yeah, doesn't sound like it." Peridot continued working, but now she found herself occasionally looking for Jasper, almost as if by instinct. Jasper was strutting around the corridors in a black cape, with her gem destabilizer in her pocket. She was always ready for a fight, even if there was none to be found. Peridot hatched a small plan, and set the ship on autopilot. She walked in front of Jasper's path purposely, and pretending to trip in front of her. Jasper instantly caught Peridot, almost as if she knew Peridot's idea. "Watch your step Peridot, I almost bumped into you." Peridot smirked, "Well it's a good thing you caught me, or else I would've fallen." *Jasper set Peridot straight up, and looked at her. Peridot was clearly smirking, even though she tried to hide it. Jasper didn't catch it, and thought Peridot was just being weird, as always. "Be more careful next time." She continued patrolling the hallways as Peridot stood in silence. She thought to herself, *Damnit Jasper, is it really that hard to figure out I like you?* Her chance to make an impression on Jasper was fleeting, so she had to act quickly, but she didn't know how. "J-Jasper! Wait!" She stopped walking, but didn't bother turning around. "Is there something else you needed?" "I needed to uh...show you something in the engine room! I think there's a gem stowaway." Jasper turned around instantly upon hearing that she might be able to fight something, "Let's get down there then and take care of it." Peridot gulped, and headed down to the Engine room, with Jasper following right behind. She was almost plowing Peridot out of the way, rushing to reach the room first. "Hurry up, or we might miss them!" "I'm going, I'm going...geez." Jasper detected a slightly dissapointed tone, but didn't think anything of it. "Here we are, spread out and find the rat." Spoke Jasper in an authoritative tone, which Peridot loved. "Jasper, there's something I need to...inform you of, before you look for the gem." She let out a small groan, but spoke with a somewhat caring tone, "What is it Peridot? We need to hurry and find whoever it is." She quickly pecked Jasper on the lips and turned to face the energy core keeping the ship in air. Jasper stood shocked, not sure how to respond, or if what happened was real or not."Peridot. Turn around" Peridot slowly turned to face Jasper, not able to look her in the face. Peridot's face was completely red. Jasper grabbed her with both arms and planted her lips into Peridot's, using her tongue to swap saliva between their mouths. Peridot turns completely red as Jasper's tongue is penetrating deeper into her mouth, while Jasper is still firmly grasping onto Peridot's arms. Jasper finally let go, and stared into Peridot's eyes. She licked the saliva off her lips and bites her upper lip, then starts to look around. "There isn't a rogue gem, is there Peridot?" She's still completely flustered, and can barely speak, "Y-y-yeah....there isn't one...I'm sorry for wasting your time Jasper." Jasper chuckled, and started walking back to the observatory. "I need to waste time more often then."
