“How's your new school? Meet anyone yet?” I heard the voice of my best friend, Cas, excitedly ask. She's been waiting for some juicy gossip, hoping for something special. It's about 10 p.m. on Sunday, I'm already waiting to head back to school.

“Well I met this boy,” I try to remember his name giving a long pause. “Um, I think it was Frank maybe..? Well anyways he had a lip ring.”

“A lip ring?” She giggles, “You better be careful, might get it caught in your braces.”

I roll my eyes, even though she can't see me. “I'll live. He doesn't even seem to care about anything really.”

“You're going to like him.”

“Am not. Plus my mom would kill me, also he didn't have a lip ring the next day.”

“That's stupid that she would be mad over a lip ring,” I could hear the annoyed tone to her voice.

“It's my mom. I'm going to go to bed, Cas. Night, love ya.”

“Love you to, Scarlet.” My phone beeps signaling the end of the call. I plug my phone in and lay it down next to me.

I stare up at my dreamcatcher above my head. I wouldn't like him, he's a badboy. My mom wouldn't like his lip ring or gage. I don't even know why I'm thinking about this. I close my eyes and let sleep drift me away.

Waking up this morning, I dragged myself out of bed. I quickly got dressed, put in my contacts, and applied some makeup. At the moment I was running outside towards the oncoming bus.

As soon as I get on I walk towards the back, plopping down in a seat. I pull out my phone to play a game. After a few minutes I get bored and end up Snapchatting a few friends.

When we get to the school I turn off my phone and shove it into my bookbag. I step off the bus and quickly head inside and to a classroom. I wait for the bell and practically run to my first class.

I look and see he's already in there. How though, I swear to God I was the first in the hallway. I take my seat and pull my binder out.

“Mornin’ beautiful. How was your weekend?” He starts.

“Boring. I didn't really do anything,” I try to avoid looking at him.

“I don't bite.” Damn it, he must've taken notice. I slowly look at him. He's wearing a navy blue polo with some dark jeans. His lip ring still missing.

“Sorry. I'm very shy,” I blush, embarrassed at myself.

“I've taken notice to that,” He looks at my backpack. “So who's your favorite character?”

“Gabriel. Dean Winchester is my second favorite.” Finally a topic I can talk about. Travis comes in, taking his seat.

“Dean's probably my favorite.”

I can't help but smile. “Of course you would go for the bad boy.”

“Well Sam is a f*ck boy, so yeah I'll go with Dean.” I can't help but giggle. I see a small smile appear on his face, creating small dimples.

The teacher calls for class right after the Pledge of Allegiance. During the breaks of teaching I learn more about the three boys. I think I'll be just fine at this table.

Travis loves baseball. He also has a girlfriend that's a Freshman but she's our age. Also, he sucks at math. I might just get along with him.

Eddy just scared me. All he wanted to talk about was gangs and drugs. I'm not the type of girl to talk about that. He also disrespected the teacher really bad. If he wasn't doing one of those three it was a topic about sex.

Frances, yes I finally remember his name, is different. He acts nice and sweet but his appearance doesn't match. He likes to learn how to fight and is in JROTC. His favorite TV show is Supernatural, I had to hold myself back from seeming crazy. The phone he had, well it got ran over by a tractor. I was upset, but not too upset.

When class is over I head to my next class, which passes by quickly. My third and fourth block teacher, Mr. Surfon, is actually there. He runs through a PowerPoint so we know the rules in his classroom.

He talks to me after third, and I move to the back corner of the room. I don't really like people so I always isolate myself. A girl who sits in front of me tries to include me in a conversation. I learn her name is Patience Rose.

Her hair is like a brown with a reddish tint to it. She's short and definitely more outgoing than I ever will be. She seemed like a senior but I learn she's a sophomore like me.

The rest of the day flies by. I sit alone at lunch again, wasn't too surprised by that. Walking to my bus I don't even look for Frances. I've dealt with one too many humans today and I'm not willing to deal with anymore. As I hop on the bus I turn my phone on and plug in my headphones, getting one of my migraines. Hopefully it'll be gone soon enough.
