My name is Grace and I live in Brisbane, Australia. I have been in love with this group of five boys from Melbourne for god knows how long! If I am being honest, I sort of have a crush on Luke. There is just something about him that I am drawn to, that and the fact that he is gorgeous! Anyway, my best friend is this amazing girl by the name of Stacey. Everyone thinks we are twins. We are very similar, but we are also very different. She has a crush on Luke's twin brother Jai. We have both been waiting for a follow from the boys for what seems like an eternity. However, we will not lose hope because we are very optimistic.
After a long, gruelling day working on assignments for university, I decided that I deserved a break. Honestly, my brain felt fried! I don't understand how people can devote their lives to study. No. Are you kidding?!?! I cannot wait until I have finished university. In saying that, I am enjoying the social side of uni. I logged onto my twitter, checked my mentions and then decided to follow the people that had followed me. As I went down the list, I saw a verified sign next to one of the followers. I read the name of the follower....
"NO WAY?!?!? OMG!!!! Luke followed me!" I was trying my absolute best not to scream, but how do you not scream when the guy you love and look up to follows you? I had to call Stacey.
"Hello?"
"OMG! Luke followed me!!!"
"Are you serious?!?!?! OMG! That is amazing!!! I'm so happy for you!!!!" I cannot wait to see her face when Jai finally follows her!
After discussing the amazing turn of events with her, we said goodbye and hung up. For the rest of the night, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face.
The next day at uni, I logged on to twitter to escape the boring drone of the lecturer. I know, I should be paying attention, but twitter is so much more interesting. As I have never had the chance to do this before, I was excited to be able to send a DM to Luke.
To Luke:
Hey :) I just wanted to let you know that you are an amazing person and I love you so much! :) <3 xoxo
I really don't expect a reply. I mean, look at how many people he follows, almost all of those people are going to be DMing him, hoping to catch his attention. I just hope that he sees it and it puts a smile on his face.
After visiting the cafe for lunch, Stacey and I settled down on the couch to watch the second episode of 1D fanboy in by the Janoskians. Honestly, these boys make me laugh so much! And the fact that they were in a hot tub made it all the more amazing. After the video, I went back onto twitter.
To Grace:
Hey beautiful ;) thanks for that message. We really appreciate the support of our fans. How are you? x.
"Stacey, he replied." I could barely whisper. I smiled like an idiot.
"No way??? What did he say?!?!" I was just itching to reply, but what if he was only asking to be polite?
To Luke:
Hey ;) I'm good thanks. Stuck at uni, but otherwise good :P how are you? x.
To Grace:
I am better now that I can talk to you ;) Where do you live in Australia? x.
We talked for ages, discussing our lives and what we wanted to do with them. I am still shell shocked that he is DMing me!
Over the next few weeks, we got to know each other. We skyped each other at least three times a week. Then one day, I told me the best news that I have heard in a while.
"We are coming to Brisbane!" He was so excited, it was nice to see him smiling like that. Wait, did he say Brisbane????
"That is so cool! When? Finally I will get to see one of your shows." I have never been to one of their concerts before and I really want to.
"Next week. Not only are you going to get to see our show, I am also giving you two backstage passes. I really want to meet you and see that pretty smile of yours in real life. Do you know who you are going to bring?"
"I know exactly who I want to bring, but I want to make it a surprise." I can't wait to see Stacey's face when she is standing in the same room as the Janoskians, or be it lying on the floor after fainting. I'll catch her :)
"I have to go, I can't wait to meet you. Bye Grace" and with that, he blew a kiss into the camera.
"Bye" I hope he can't see me blushing over skype.
"I saw that, it's cute ;)"
"Bye Luke" I giggled as I disconnected the call. In one week, I get to meet the guy that I have been crushing on for ages! He always flirts with me on twitter and skype, I think he is just being cute, but wouldn't it be so cool if he did actually like me! I know, I know, the odds are not in my favour. I'm just so excited that I get to meet him, and I get to bring Stacey!
