Elena's P.O.V.
It is the year 2098 and vampires have taken over our world. We are now slaves to them and we attend their every need. Some of us serve as feeders,some of us as workers and some of us are used as play toys for the vampires to torture. And they actually enjoy hearing us scream. How sick is that?!
When our world was free of vampires my father wanted to show me something. We had went for a walk in the forests like we usually did but as we walked on a vampire came from no where and murdered my father right in front of me. After it drained my father, it grabbed me by my neck and stared me deep into my eyes. The vampire had dangerous sea green eyes but mysteriously I felt an emotion generating from him, sadness and anger. This all happened when i was seven and from then I became hard hearted and I lost the will to be able to love again because I loved and trusted my Dad more than I trusted myself. I hated those bloodsuckers.
A couple of months later there were similar cases like my Dad's and somehow it was pinned on vampires. When the vampires were exposed they attacked. It was a long war that lasted two years. Two years filled with sorrow and tears and pain. The vampires won and took control over us.
When my Dad died I had my two very best friends,Shaney and Edith, and we help each other get through the pain we felt when we lost one of our family members. My friends and I were not fond of vampires. Turns out when the vampires where at war not all vampires were on the same side, they were called rogues.
My friends and I got the name "The Vampire Slayers" because we were the first humans to ever kill vampires. We were 13. We had gone on a walk in the forest after the "take over", as the vampires love to call it. We got attacked by a bunch of rogues and luckily as we grew up our mothers urged us to go for fighting classes and we were actually very good in the classes we fought them and we saw wooden stakes and we pierced the vampire's hearts.
