Elena's P.O.V.
Now because my friends and I saw how good fighting will be for us so we decided to learn martial arts and go to the gym. Here it is get out of our house at your own risk because the vampires randomly pick who they want to be their slaves. So we are allowed to go anywhere we want. Its like the world is the same and the only difference is that we are being ruled vampires. So Shaney, Edith and I meet up at the gym daily. Due to our exercising, I hate to brag but damn we look hot.
We have been exercising for five years, since we were 13 and it really pays of.
When we were 14 the vampires began to fear us so in order to get rid of us they sent us on deadly missions to kill their enemies, rogues and all that so that we can be killed but to their disadvantage we always completed the missions. So at the ages of 15 they put us in a Vampire School.
Obviously the vampire school is filled with those filthy bloodsuckers. Even though we have been schooling their for three years the boy vampires' eyes fill with lust when they see us. The vampire school had vampires and brats. Only rich children school there because their parents don't wanna risk them being taken as slaves. They made an exception for us though.
"When do you think we will ever be able to love again," Shaney asked. It was a question none of us could answer. Since we all lost our fathers during the war we all became cold-hearted and we only loved our moms and each other.
I looked at her and Edith and shook my head. We were sitting at our table eating lunch. After Shaney's question we finished our lunch in silence listening to the boy bloodsuckers whistling our way. "Jerks," we said then we burst out laughing.
We knew that we will eventually find our true loves when the time becomes right but who knew our true love would be, or as vampires call them "mates" , vampires?
