i looked up to see my mom passing me another present for Christmas

I opened it quickly and my eyes went wide

"you got me a phone?" I jumped up and down and hugged my mom

"you've been doing good in school so I thought you needed a reward." she says patting my head

I went to go plug it in while making all my accounts and downloading apps

I followed my friends from school and made an Instagram and snapchat

I frowned at the comment but ignored it while texting friends I got a phone

"alright honey you need to go get ready for school or your going to be late." my mom said while taking the charging phone and placing it down

I nodded quickly while running upstairs

I pulled on my blue skinny jeans with a white shirt that had a yellow smiley face

"okay mom I'll see you after school." I said grabbing my bag and my new phone

I walked to school with my head down admiring my phone thinking how jealous everyone will be

"hey Luke!" I turned around and saw my bestfriend

"hey Connor." I smiled at him widely

I put my phone in his hand

"you got an iPhone 5?" he said while admiring it

"lucky I can't upgrade my 4 until July." he whined while walking into class

I put it down in my bag and started to chat which Connor about how hot Jenna was from 10th grade

they looked up and saw me looking so they all started busting out laughing
