At first I wasn't paying attention to anything Bruce was saying because I didn't think he would need me for this mission. Boy was I wrong!"Y\N, Jason, you two will be going on a mission together." I nearly spit out my water onto the computer.
"I'm sorry, did I just hear you tell me that I have to go on a mission with that-" I pointed to Jason behind me, "alone?!" Jason scoffed.
"Yeah, it's just a mission, how hard could it be?"
2 weeks later on the mission...
"You know, when Bruce said dancing, I thought he meant alone, not with each other."
"Yeah, same here. Why do we even have to wear these ridiculous outfits?" Jason asked while pulling at the black sleeve of his tango outfit. Yes, you heard me right, me and Jason have to tango.
"We finally agree on something. What did he mean when he said that we had to work on our communication skills with each other? I thought that we communicated quite well," I wondered aloud.
"No, we never really talked before this mission unless we were arguing." I scrunched my face in concentration. Jason started to laugh.
"What's so funny, Todd?" I pondered.
"You, you look so cute when you do the thing..." he trailed off as soon as he realized what he said. An awkward silence had soon fell upon us.
I cleared my throat, "umm, what thing?"
"The scrunched face thing," he replied quietly. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. Now that I thought about it, Jason wasn't that bad. He was kinda nice...and cute.
"Thanks. I uhh, think you look cute too." I knew that I was beat red. Jason was too.
"Come on, let's go. We're up next." We walked onto the stage and took our places. I set my hand in Jason's and my other on his shoulder. Jason did the same, but put his other hand on my waist, but much lower than I'm used to. Not that I'm complaining or anything.
