Fifteen: Part Two

I jolted awake.

I rubbed my forehead. It was OBVIOUSLY a DREAM. Ladybug would never act like that, I thought to myself.

"Sonya? Are you okay?"

Master Fu returned, the same jewelry boxes from the dream stacked in his hands.

"Yeah... ish." I said, looking at the ceiling. "What exactly was the Lion's powers?"

"Oh. She was able to control Miraculous Holders, but only one holder at a time. She can also take away their powers." Fu explained.

"Wha? Then without the other Miraculous, she'd be practically useless?" I asked.

"Partially. But the power is only unlocked when all Kwamis are present, so all Miraculous Jewels have to be worn."

Oh. Then that means the dream wasn't even possible.

"Then what powers does she have when all Kwami's aren't present?"

"She can force people out of their own will and cause them to freeze. But she can't control them."

That explains more.

"Well, what was I going to do?" I asked Master Fu.

"Oh yeah, the Miraculous. Let's do this." I said, grabbing my Domo bag and shoving in the hexagon boxes. I jumped down the stairs and out of the doorway.

"Thanks! See you later, Master!" I shouted back, headed to the park.

Everything in my dream went out as planned. Kim lost, the picnic was set up, and the monster appeared. Except Chat Noir wasn't there.

I jumped down from the building, suddenly scared.

How was she going to react?

"Hey Lion, I need you here!" Ladybug shouted, her yo-yo wrapped around the akumatized.

I smiled in relief and ran up to the monster, forcing it down. It wiggled onto it's back and spit on me.

SPIT. ON ME.

"Oh, MY LORD IT SPIT ON ME!" I shouted, rubbing the disgusting translucent spit off of my face. I heard Ladybug scream and saw the red heroine being flung across the park, letting the victim escape. Ladybug growled, sitting upright.

Suddenly, I heard panting.

"Am I late?" Chat Noir asked.

We both glared at him, and in unison, said "Yes."
