When you're jealous of the breeze or the waving ocean
That can carry you away, sink or swim
You realize how much you want that instead of your own life
You think of the possibilites, start thinking you can float away
It hurts so bad when reality wreck your train of thought
Derailing what hope is carried away on that baloon of imagination
Pop, it drowns, gravity affects it too...
And to come to terms that life isn't a dream but a nightmare
You wake up with sweat and fear, the lies that sink you by themselves
With no intent to do any harm, the waves lap on
And the wind breathes the air into your lungs
Until you get to the conclusion that your lungs don't use that air
And would rather be sunk with the waters of despair
