You told me to be patient
And I waited for you too long
You told me to stop talking
And I had spent eternity silenced
You told me to be nice
Was I ever angry?
You told me to be different
Isn't that what I'll always be?
You told me to love you
And can love be told?
You weren't right for me
Because I was your shaky left
I was always pretending
And you left me dead, blind and deaf.
