Katie silently ran through the night garden as she giggled hopelessly to herself "Princess!" she could hear the urgent calls of the guards as she stealthily jumped over a garden hedge, landing successfully on her feet. "Grab Jace!" oh hoe much trouble she'll be now... She decided to pick up her space but she sniffed the air, smelling the sweet cinnamon vanilla smell of her mate, 'quicker dear Kat, he'll catch you!' unlike most female inner wolves, Katie's was rebellious and stubborn, yet loyal and mature. Katie being the smart 15 year old she was, jumped into the hole she had been searching for, squealing when she fell down under hearing the frustrating growls of her dear mate. "Katie! get back up here" she heard but she shook her head at his protectiveness, "sorry Jace! but I don't think- argh!" she screamed when she landed on a body, a dead one. "Help me!" she screamed loudly making Jace as she continued screaming helplessly "Katie! Katie! Are you alright?!" Jace screamed down, his heart breaking bit by bit as her whinpers got louder and louder "Jacie-vear!" she cried but her whimpers stopped as she ran to the other end where a ladder sat, she climbed as Jace's worries grew "Katie..." he called loudly in the hole, the guards murmuring softly as a scared look flashed in their eyes "Jacie-bear!" he heard her screams before he was bought into a surprised hug, he immediately hugged back as he inhaled the strawberry and lavender smell he loved so much... "you scared me" he whispered into her hair unaware of the tears. "J-jace" she sobbed softly into the crook of his neck, her tears slipping onto his bare skin, alerting him "what happened Kat??" his tone obvious filled with panic and worry "a d-dead body is down there!" she hiccuped softly as his body turned tense..
