Walking down this street brings back memories, some I want to remember and some I don't. They are memories that shaped me to be the person I am today. During my trip down memory lane, I managed to land myself in front of  203 Hollis road. I remembered that night so well, it was a night of many lessons.

My senior year in Inlet High School for the Sciences I spent a night in there with my crush at that time.

My best friend, Maria, and my twin sister, Natalia, and I were playing Dare or Dare. It was meant to be innocent fun, well as innocent as three 17 year olds can come up with. They dared me to spend a night in this supposedly haunted house with my crush.

So the next day at school, I pitched the idea to him and he said yes. We made a plan for Saturday night and we made a list for who was to bring what. The rest of the week went by so fast even though I wished it to slow down. I didn't want Friday to  come because with Friday came Saturday.

To think in this society, at my age that I had never slept with someone baffled my friends. So they put it on themselves to make sure I was laid by the end of June. So that night, when Lucas and I met up it went from a friendly camp out to a night filled with passion. I still remember my pleas for him to take me and for him to go deeper.

I will never forget this because it made me realize what it is that I wanted in a man. Also, it gave me my precious Ruby. The light of my world and my muse.
