I was sitting on bed and heard my mom and dad arguing so I left. I grabbed a sweater and snuck out my window. I clumb down the ladder that's on the side of my house and put my sweater on then started walking down the street. "Hey" I heard behind me. I turned around and seen the boy next door. "Hello?" I said turning back around to walk. "Who are you?" I asked him, while he was running up next to me. "The new guy." He smiled. "I mean what's your name. But I shall call you the New guy" I said,laughing "What's your name and mines really Matthew but people call me Matt." He said. "My name's Rita." I said.

"Where you heading?" He asked me. " I don't know. Somewhere far away from here for about 20 to 30 minutes. How about you?" I asked. "The store for my mom." He said, putting his hands in his pockets. "So Rita. Are you originally from California?" He asked me. I nodded and went to ask him something but my phone went off.

I had a message from gabe that said he was leaving for a vacation with his parents for the summer. But then I got another message but this one was a picture of him with a girl in his lap.

"Matt. I have to go." I said then tried running home but he grabbed my arm. "Why? What's wrong?" He asked me. I showed him my phone and he was confused. "That's my boyfriend.." I mumbled trying to hold back tears.
