Hi guys! Thanks for clicking into our book, it means a lot. Sorryaholic and I have been working on this for a while now and we're really excited to be finally sharing it! We've worked as a duo to bring the journey of Wilder and Macey to you and we really hope you enjoy the story.
But before we let you get to the book, there are a few things that we need to get out of the way.
1: All characters except for Chris Berman are completely and totally fictional, coming from our minds. Any similarities are a coincidence.
2: Chris Berman, from our knowledge, have never said the things that are in the book. He has NO knowledge that we used him in our book and neither of us have actually met or talked to him. Please don't think anything he reported on tv in Ten Years Later is real because it's not. We made it up.
3: All rights reserved. I wrote this and Sorryaholic edited the entire book while throwing ideas at me and helping me plan the book. (It sounds like I've done most of the work but she's literally my muse and the only reason I've continued to keep writing). This is our book. Do. Not. Steal. Our. Stuff. Be original. Seriously guys. This book belongs to us.
4: If you see a grammatical error, feel free to let us know, we'll try our best to fix it, but please don't leave comments or messages that say our book sucks. We've worked hard on this and DON'T need Debbie Downers.
5: We've tried our hardest to make every building mentioned real. There is an actual apartment building where Macey lives. The supermarket (though it might be closed and gone now) is/was actually there. The places mentioned on Macey's route from work to home are there from what we know of. If there are any Boston residents that read this and can prove us wrong, then politely leave a comment that corrects us. We'll fix it if we can. (I've actually abandoned this so the first six chapters are accurate but then I got lazy so the rest of the book will be fictional places).
6: Vote, comment, and enjoy. We had lots of fun, late night writing sessions where we stayed up until 2 in the morning writing because we couldn't sleep and we hope, with our fingers crossed, that you'll have just as much fun reading as we did writing.
Signed,
DancingYellowPiggies and Sorryaholic(We've decided to post as we write so ignore anything that says differently)
