So I got a new phone a couple days ago and typing on it is absolutely lovely, hence the quick updates. The thing is, I'm not used to this type of keyboard and what not because I switched from an iPhone to a motor z. I'm sorry for any typos or whatnot. I know there's a capitalized j somewhere in here that wasn't supposed to be but I can't find it. Comment where it is if you see.

Slinging my measuring tape around my neck, I step back and open the red door of my work room.
"If you'll follow me?" I ask, waving my arm in such a way that it indicates I want him to leave the room.
Wilder obliges, strolling out of the room, fully clothed might I add.
I step up behind him, shut the door, and lead the way to my office.
Halfway there, a sharply dressed brunette stops me.
"Macey how is the Wilde... Oh! Speak of the devil!" Daniel says, grinning with delight.
"It's going well. We're on track to be done in time. We just got measurements and we're going to finalize design as well as see if we've got a final date," I affirm, forcing the heat in my cheeks to go away when I think about the work room.
She nods, something like a knowing grin spreading across her lips.
She pats my back playfully as she starts walking passed me.
"As long as you had fun!" She yells at me from down the hall, turning to give me a wink I hope Wilder didn't see.
Closing my eyes in embarrassment at my friend and boss' actions, I start walking again, trying to block out the last ten seconds of my life.
Wilder let's a small laugh escape and I turn back, giving him an apologetic look.
"I'm sorry for her. She sometimes forgets to be an adult," I confess.
He shakes his head as he walks into my office before me.
"It's okay. After seven years of being friends with her, I'm kind of used to it," he says as he takes a seat in the guest chair.
My eyebrows crinkle in confusion as I take my seat on the other side of the desk.
"You've known her for that long?" I inquire, wondering how the hell I didn't know Danny and Wilder were friends as I open up my schedule book and sketch pad.
He nods.
"Yah. Well... kind of. Robert and I were roommates my Junior year of college. Him and Danny didn't get together for another six months after we moved in and I didn't actually meet her for a couple months after that but yah. It's been basically seven years."
Shaking my head in bewilderment, I tap some keys on my keyboard and log into my computer. "I had no idea. I had a paid internship at Danny's sister's male fashion house a little under ten years ago, about six months after I graduated high school. When I was done with that, Daniela scooped me up and stuck me in her company. I've been here since, mostly working special cases or A-listers such as you."
He nods slowly as if I just told him my life's story.
"How old were you when you had Ava and Wilder?" He asks nonchalantly.
Turning and pushing the sketchbook to him, I quickly ask, "And you're still good with this design."
He traces his finger along the edge and then nods once again. "I am."
Ripping the page out, I pin it to my board of finalized sketches and then sit back down in my chair.
"And the date of your wedding is still Valentine's day?" I inquire, still avoiding his question.
