I closed my eyes seeing my past and i sighed cause i always said i wasn't gon open up to no girl so this new to me

Me: Well my dad was and is a alcoholic it started when I was getting older and since Leon was younger i always took his beatings and protected him

I shook my head at the memory

Flashback

I walked inside the house getting tackled by Leon

Leon: Man he hurting her again

Me: Why he back

He left months ago and everything been a lil good I've been going job hunting and I literally had an interview in a couple of hours

I ran upstairs and he was holding her there with a gun against her head she was crying and I ran up to him and punched him then when I started fighting him I heard a gun go off and seen her laying out on the floor

I ran straight to her and Leon came up and immediately called the cops and an ambulance

Leon: No man this can't be happening

Mom: B-boys

I looked down at her with tears in my eyes

Her breathing pitched and I ran my hands through her hair

Then she was out and sirens were heard

Flashback

I laid down and held Mani in my arms falling asleep

I woke up to my phone ringing to much

I called back and she answered

Lucas: Her water broke

I jumped up throwing on some slides then headed out to the car and went straight to the hospital

I tried to get the number to the room and they didn't tell me-
