Akise's P.O.V.

"You've been awfully quiet."

"Is that so? Sorry." I sighed when he said that. People always unnecessarily apologize.

"It's nothing to apologize for. I was just merely stating something I noticed."

He stopped and looked at me in the eyes. "The outside.. makes me uncomfortable." He shook his head and began walking at a fast pace. I followed him in confusion noticing the atmosphere surrounding us got a bit heavy.

Two blocks later there was a bench and Yukkiteru practically threw himself on it. "I know we just met today and I really don't want to burden you with something that doesn't concern you."

"We might have just met, but we're friends now. Whatever concerns you, concerns me too as long as you want to tell me." I made sure to make to lock eyes with him before I sat down next to him.

"I had an accident two months ago and today was the first day I've been outside since then." He grabbed his hair frustration. I couldn't fathom why he was acting like this. If he really had an issue with going outside, he could of just rejected my offer. It's not like it bothered me or anything of the sort but he was just making a situation worse than it already was. "I couldn't find a way to reject your offer. After all, you're my first friend."

"Could of started with a no." I chuckled lightly. "No need to be careful with your words around me. It's okay, Yukkiteru-kun. Not a big deal for me, we can just go back to your place. Seriously, don't give me that face." My hand caressed his cheek. "It's fine, I know it must be hard for you." He shook his head and stood up. His legs were shaking and I couldn't help to but grab his hand. He looked at me with glassy eyes. I smiled lightly and started walking, his hand tightening around my own.
