I'll be back

"Everyone in the car! Jay, give me the keys, I'll drive." I said, grabbing my purse on the way out the door. Jay tossed the keys to me and I unlocked the car and hopped in the front seat.

"Um, Em? You know there's traffic, right? It is almost noon. And do you know where you're going?" Twyla asked, confused. "It has been a while since you were here."

"As long as nothing changed, It'll be fine. And traffic can't be that bad." I said. Oh how wrong I was. There was traffic everywhere. Even though I did know where I was going, I could not expect this bad of traffic.

"MOVE YOU FAT MOTHER FUCKSTICK! GET OUT OF MY FREAKING WAY! THE LIGHT IS GREEN! GREEN MEANS GO! THANK YOU!" I screamed, my grip tight on the steering wheel. I hated traffic, and stupid people. And during traffic, there are too many stupid people.

"Mother fuckstick? I have never heard that before." Jay said, laughing.

"Well would you rather I use flap-jack?" I asked.

"No, mother fuckstick is fine. It's your rage." Jay said.

"Thank you. Now, let me get back to my driving. I know that Panda Express is around here somewhere. I know that its right here." I said, looking around the shopping center. "THERE! I FOUND IT!" I screamed, driving over to the brightly colored building. I found a parking spot and we all walked inside.

"So, I'm alright if we just get orange chicken, lo mein, and beef and broccoli. Do you guys want anything else?" I asked, looking around the group.

"Uh, no, I think we're good. Do you want to order?" Twyla said.

I ordered for us and we paid for the food. Getting back to the car, Jay asked if I still wanted to drive.

"Of course! I do love to drive, even if other people on the road are stupid." I said, laughing. The traffic wasn't quite as bad driving back to the house. It still wasn't great though and everyone in the car was laughing as my insults to the other drivers got more and more ridiculous.

Back at the house, we opened up the food and dug in.
