"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, young and old! Come along! Amazement doesn't discriminate! Everyone loves magic, right? If you do, come along! Come to see the wonderful things that lie inside this tent!" A tall black haired man wearing eyeliner, and two black lines going from underneath his raven eyebrows to his jaws, clad in magician-wear (top-hat and all) stood on an apple box, drawing people toward his act. "Five minutes! This the last call! Come and join me, won't you?" He feigns a charming smile and comes down from the crate he stood on. The lanky magician walks behind his tent to prepare for the show.

Near the entrance of the tent, a young woman was dressed in a black dress that had a white collar, and white lace trim at the hem. On her face, she wore a flexible, white mask with the features of a doll, rosy dots for cheeks, and long painted on eyelashes. She had chest length hair put into loose braids and side bangs that partially hid the cracks at each side of her mask's jaw.

She smiles excitedly, her mask moving with the expression. She walks into the tent, hiding her ever-present dark thoughts and daydreams with an innocent facade. Her black orbs shimmer with mischief and anticipation. She finds a place to sit in the crowd and awaits the appearance of the mysterious, blue eyed magician.

In exactly four minutes, the tent grows dark and the magician stands on the stage. He introduces himself as "The Magician" and launches into his first gruesome act. He asks for volunteers first and is greeted by several raised hands. The volunteers get onstage. There is a young boy with blond hair, blue eyes, and freckles; a brunette with sunken in features and dark eyes; and a teenage girl with strawberry blonde hair and green eyes. The ravenet grins a grin that seemingly only the doll-like girl in the crowd understood the origins of. She smiled and bounced excitedly.

'This will be fun,' she grins and refrains from giggling. She watches wide eyed as The Magician tricks the volunteers with his fake cheeriness and charming, yet ominous, smirks. It seems the first volunteer, the young boy, will be assisting him with the saw trick in which a person is sawed in half. The remaining volunteers sit nearby in chairs to watch the trick. The boy happily gets the trick set up and waits for the man to complete the act. The Magician disappears behind a curtain behind the stage, and comes back in a second with a manual saw.

The figurine girl walks closer, her rosy dots growing as she anticipates the horror about to take place. She pushes past people and watches eagerly as the man positions his saw. He begins the act with a saddistic twist taking over his once charming smile. In less than seconds, the boy lets out a blood curdling scream and crimson liquid pours from the box. The once happy crowd is thrown into panic mode as the man completes the act. Many attempt to scramble off, but something seems to be stopping them. Even the volunteers on the stage can only watch in horror as the child is sawed. With every movement the tall man makes with the saw, the boy lets out more screams.

The girl lets out no sound of horror, or distress as the crowd around her dissolves to chaos, and insanity. She stands mesmerized as the act is finished.

The Magician finishes with the act and pulls the boxes apart, revealing entrails and blood. At this sight, the chaos only grows. People drop to the floor, screaming and crying out, covering their tear-stained faces and eyes. The girl pushes past all of the people with a grin as the dark haired magician continues the macabre display. He smiles at the woman.

"Will you assist me in my next trick? This one will be quite fun. I will make you disappear."

The woman stares at him, wide- eyed and mortified. She shakes her head 'no' and her long brown locks whip with her movement.

"Are you sure of that?" The Magician asks, staring into the woman's sunken eyes. Despite the crowds cries and pleas, the woman's stare turns blank and she nods.
